That's the problem, some franchises will be moved.

and I agree at some point, every team will win at least 1 title.

But it's been how long since a team like the bucks got a title?

Home town Raptors will never win the championship, the refs and league will never allow that to happen. After MLB Never Again...

Knicks fan here, obviously, but I think there's a chance. Of course, it would take a really hot JR Melo, and Felton from 3, a rejuvenated STAT, Shump with an incredible recovery from his ACL tear, and Mike Woodson coaching well in the playoffs.

Even then, the Knicks have pretty nice chances compared to other teams.

Even Chicago is a great example for this.

You guys all have a chance. Back to the future and predicting Florida to win it? And then it happens?

So yeah if there's hope for us, there's hope for every team in the league.

i know the clips sucked for decades. but they have one advantage, you know what i mean. it's still the city of angels.
what is, say, cleveland? the forest city? forests don't win titles.

just saying, l.a. is a big market, itjust needed some time to take advantage of that.

The entire Suns franchise history is filled with groin punches, Mortal Kombat style heart rips, and Chuck Norris concussion roundhouse kicks to the face.

So, probably going to lean towards no.

extremely confident. not saying its immenent but in my opinion the 2 most important factors for success in the NBA, and pro sports in general are:

- invested ownership that puts winning above all else
- Market size

If John Wall turns the corner, and we purge of FO of the chromosomally challenged...I think there is a chance. The probability of both of those occurring aren't as high as I'd like, but there is hope. I also thought the wiz would win a playoff game before the redskins, and with the way good ol shanny treats RG III that may come into fruition as well :/

As a raptors fan I don't really know. I think many star players would like to play in the city of T.O but the raptors are just such an embarrassment. If they can be a at least perennial playoff team for like 3-4 years it would go a long way in changing players opinion about the team. New management is needed, though I would like to see how Colangelo performs without Bargnani. Andrea put a spell on BC or something. I remember in 2001-2002, the raptors were actually considered favorites to come out of the east, and a few even thought they would win it all. That gives me some hope. Now all we have to do is just draft another Vince Carter

the difference is, when the bulls draft a Jordan or a Rose, odds are he is staying in CHICAGO.

when the lakers draft a Kobe, or Magic, odds are he is staying LA.

when the knicks draft a Monroe or frazier or Ewing, odds are hs is staying in NEW YORK.

when the celtics drafted Bird or Pierce, odds are he is staying in BOSTON

get the gist? in the past year we've already seen dwight and chris paul force there way out of small markets, missing out on NY, and "settling" for LA. Lebrons "decision" was pretty easy and it wasnt sticking around in cleveland.

Great ownership, Large market. thats what you need to be reasonably confident you'll win one in the next 15-20 years

As long as we have an owner who likes to spend money, there is a chance for Magic fans.

Ever? Yeah eventually again..maybe in like 30 years.

No young talent? Tier 2 team at best? You sure you're a Knicks fan?

I personally think we are headed in the right direction. We have a solid coach, a solid nucleus with Chandler and Melo, solid role players, and we are once again developing a winning culture. Its not a stretch to think that we can contend for a title as early as this year.
