Pretty juvenile of Kobe but maybe he thought that the best chance they'd have of beating Miami would be to turn it into a one on one. Unfortunately, when playing head to head LeBron normally outscores Kobe.

I think Kobe would win even now. Entirely too skilled and still isn't a slouch in the athleticism department. People keep thinking one on one is like NBA Jams where the most athletic player dunks from the three point line and blocks shots at its peak arc, it doesn't work that way.

Nah I've got LeBron in this one, including prime and especially now (duh). But Kobe would hold his own if we're talking Kobe in his mid-late 20's. MJ would beat Kobe too.

Melo vs. LeBron intrigues me though.

Defiantly not. Maybe back a few years ago but kobes just too slow now. Hes a terrible defender as it is, lebron is too big, strong and quick for him and a way better defender.
