yao probably had gigantism. He has the features common in people with gigantism
Absolutely. However Yao really was abnormal for a person with gigantism. You can google video of Yao as a youngster and see how agile he was. Much more so than guys like this. Even Muresan was quicker in the NBA than Ndiaye in these vids and gigantism has a habit of breaking people that have it faster so he likely will continue to decline.

High school junior? Judging by his face he's had to repeat at least 11 times.

He looks like a 40 year old.
The dude is crazy long though. He had an 8'1" wingspan.

Yeah but he also makes Hibbert look like Glen Davis in size

I swear to God, there are like 8 guys with the name Mamadou N'Diaye every year. I remember when the Raptors had Mamadou on their roster for a few years. Obviously not this one, but man, this must be the equivalent of John Smith or something, because every 2 or 3 years, there's a new Mamadou N'Diaye prospect out there. He's always a tall kid from Africa with raw skills "but loads of potential."
Hopefully this one has at least a Muresan- or Bol-level career, that'd be cool. Love seeing the tall guys succeed.

the older brother redshirted last yr at new mexico st, but is playing this yr...and playing fairly well in less than 20 minutes of action.
the other is a HS junior who reclassified and went back to canada after spending some time in the states.
they both have slim chances at the nba. same with this guy in the OP since they're all so slow.

Cool, thanks. For some reason, I thought they'd be older than that.

Appears his team plays pretty much a "small school" sceduale...making it hard to scale him vs good competition, but....it's still likely he ends up playing major college. Might be pretty good since he's been scoring
CENSORED... No comment.

he does play at a small private school, so yes, the competition is really bad. but he did play the summer AAU circuit as well as a couple of player camps and he actually accounted for himself fairly well vs top competition.
