I'll take Parker. He's a lot more skilled.

Thats just absolutely not true. His shot is more refined by Wiggins is much more creative off the bounce. Add to that, the major gulf in athleticism and its not that close. Jabari is now projected 4th in 2014 by draftexpress. Hes slow, like reaaaally slow.

Parker's ability to operate more effectively in the half court is a huge reason why he is more skilled. Athleticism doesn't translate to being skilled. Parker may be a lesser athlete than Wiggins, but his first step is indeed NBA ready. He also has a nice set of moves he can use, like jab steps, spin moves, a pull up jumper, as well as a nice fade away. I think his comparison to Melo comes from is his ability to operate the high post effectively. Wiggins is just physically more dominant because he's playing at the high school level. He's going to be a heck of a player, but I think Parker is better.

"Detroit gives me the wiggins"

Would love me some Wiggins in Detroit to pair up with Dre

A Dre/Moose/Drew front court would give the rest of the NBA the wiggins. :P

I don't watch HS bball other than youtube tapes but what makes Wiggins so much more hyped than other athletic/skilled swingmen like Harrison Barnes for example. What puts him on the that rare tier reserved only for the generational type prospects??

Handles, speed, first step, ability to create his own shot, and elite Kobe/T-Mac type athleticism. Has star written all over him.

I'm not sure Why Piston fans think they will suck enough to get Wiggins in 2014...
You guys will improve dramatically as Drummond, Monroe become better and attract FA... And improve chemistry... 40 win team in 2013-2014...

Suns in the other hand... Looking like the worst Western team in the nex 2 years...

Would love to get Wiggins and build around him and whomever the team gets this year (Shabazz, Mclemore, Bennett, Noel, MCW etc)

I share the same sentiments. The high school hype train means very little to almost nothing. We'll know where he along with other prospects stand after a year of College exposure.

But I have to tell you, the more game footage I search of Wiggins the more I'm in disbelief he is being compared to Lebron by some. People have absolutely no idea what they're talking about anymore. This guy is nothing like Lebron in any way shape or form.

It's crazy how good I feel ballin up a bunch of 20-30 year olds at my local 24 Hour Fitness, then realizing there are high school kids doing THAT.

You can tell by the way he handles the ball, and by his dunks, he doesn't have "big hands" yet - he doesn't look like he can palm the ball, but he's probly still growing so that could come in time, plus it's not like it hugely affects your game if you can't, it just helps if you can.

He has the athleticism to compete already, that's for sure, but whether or not he will be able to develop the fundamentals needed to play SG/SF at an elite professional level remains to be seen - you can't rely on spin moves to beat all your defenders.

Looking at some of those instinctual reactions though and quick hops he has, he's obviously the best prospect for 2014 (or 2015).

If his nickname isn't Ender in the NBA.. I will be extremely upset. I don't see this guy coming close to Lebron, people think because he jumps high and hit a couple 3 pointers in a hype youtube video that he's the next LBJ. Makes me laugh. LBJ will be in the GOAT discussion and unless this kid has a Jordan like work ethic he won't even be considered for the conversation with LBJ.

I don't think his style is same as Lebron's.
Lebron was a ball handler, passer etc.

But Wiggins definitely has some aggression towards the rim... Enough that you know he will likely be a 20ppg at the very least.

That and he will most likely win a dunk contest if he choose to enter it... His vertical is insane and explosive as.

I've made this comment on the draft board about him and I stand by it..
Wiggins is likely a 23ppg 7rpg 3apg type with breath taking dunks...

Unless he improves his ball handling I fail to see him as Pippen as NBA draft.net has him pegged.

his body and game looks like a tmac/pippen combo

T-Mac is a good comparison minus that T-Mac can pass and play make..

I think somewhere a combo of T-Mac, Gay, LeBron, Pippen...

His built is Pippen like, muscular, wiry and long...
Pippen always had that look when he dribbled and attacked the basket... Like someone with their arms too long for they body... And it was.. 6'8, 7'3 wingspan..
