East:
Jrue Holiday - Amazing numbers and elevating a garbage cast from horrific to just pretty bad
Joakim Noah - Great versatility and stamina for a Center, Chicago's best player without Rose so far
Brook Lopez - Huge offensive impact, and slightly improved defense make up for his still subpar rebounding
David West - Having a great year for the Pacers, carried them until George broke out
Tyson Chandler - Career offensive year, very good defensive player and hyper efficient
Paul George - Versatile emerging star, has cemented himself as Indy's best player on both ends of the floor
Josh Smith - Part payback for being snubbed so many years before, partially for having Atlanta with a decent record without Joe Johnson for the first time in years.

Snubs- Irving- If coaches are putting in Holiday I don't think they'll put in another point guard from a bad team.
Pierce- Celtics won't get 3 all-stars with a record hovering around .500
Deron Williams- Simply a below par year, Lopez is more valuable to their team
Bosh- Down year and simply horrible rebounding, especially considering how bad Miami needs it.

West:
Westbrook - Unstoppable and on an elite team
Aldridge - Team is in the playoffs atm , great offensive big man
Harden - Gaudy numbers, elite scorer
Randolph - Beast in the post, good team
David Lee - Great #'s on a suprising team
Tony Parker - Typical great play on great team
Tim Duncan - Having one of his best seasons in years

Snubs- Curry- Parker gets the nod for being on a much better team and Lee is playing phenomenal ball
Al Jeff- Duncan has better numbers for a better team, so does Randolph
Rudy Gay- Not really a snub since he's nowhere close to All-Star caliber, but some people are putting him in so I thought his exclusion begged an explanation.

Carlos Boozer has to be a reserve. He is leading the east in double doubles. He probably deserves it over Noah even.

I would figure Bosh has to get in, all of his stats are better than garnetts, probably should have started

If Tyson Chandler doesn't get named then he was robbed.

East
Noah - The Bulls needs to be represented
Lopez - Same as Noah. Also, he's having a career-year.
George - Same as Lopez.
Holiday - In spite of team's bad record, is undeniably having a career-year.
Irving - Same as Holiday
Smith - Was snubbed last year, team has a wining record so it should be represented.
West/Chandler - A toss-up

West
Duncan - Should've been a starter at Center imo
Parker - The Spurs deserve 2 reps
Westbrook - He and his team deserves it
Randolph - He's back and so is the Grizz
Curry - 1/2 responsible for the Warriors' winning ways
Lee - See Curry
Harden - Breakout year for him

West:

James Harden: He deserved it, this year, more than anyone to be in the All-Star
Russell Westbrook: He'll be in this game for many years to come.
Tim Duncan: Shows again that it is about the age, it is about being smart and knowing the game.
Tony Parker: He even should be named in the MVP race, of course behind LeBron and Durant.
David Lee/Steph Curry: For me this duo made the greatest surprise of the year this far. Both deserves to be All-Stars.
Zach Randolph: Tough to pick one from Gasol, Randolph, Gay, Conley. But I think Z-Bo is going to selected. There has to be a Grizz.

East:

Jrue Holiday: He has been big this year. Want to see him with Bynum. Jrue is really good.
Paul George: He got the hype. Without Granger he is doing great as #1 player.
Tyson Chandler:
David West: Having a way better year than expected.
Kyrie Irving: Not sure if he deserved it yet but he'll be a sure starter in the near future
Brook Lopez: Both D-Wİll and Joe Johnson don't deserve to be here. Lopez is having a good year, so he can get picked. Do not have much of a challenge.
Joakim Noah: He is a great guy, fun to watch. Also without Rose they're still a good team.

If Pierce makes it in (though he is the one celtic truly deserving), then I think something really needs to change with the fan voting. The Lakers and Celtics having 2 all star starters is absurd with how poorly their teams have played. Each team deserves one, at best.

It's too bad that one of Noah, Chandler, Lopez won't make it because of Garnett. Bosh could push one of them out of it as well, even though the Heat have not been good enough for 3 all stars.

Watch Joe Johnson make it again, even though he doesn't deserve it. Coaches always pick him for some reason

As a lifelong Warriors' fan- no chance we get 2 All-Stars. I am not even sure that is legal?
