He'll be a staple in the ASG until he retires, and he deserves it, IMO.

Fans say so, he deserves. As much of I don't like Kobe, he deserves it IMHO

It's not like any other guard could challenge him in the West. Harden's the only one but he's even more inconsistent.

Well he's playing better than he did last year, so, yeah, I'd say he deserves it.

Dwight is the one you should ask if you wanna pinpoint a Laker, just saying.

I'm with you that leading the league in scoring is not really that big of a deal, but Lakers are doing just fine when Kobe's on the court. If you can't believe that someone can be truly doing good work with a team struggling like this, then you need to dial down your interpretation of how much effect one man has.

The Lakers are losing. Of course they're empty stats. Come on, now.

He should, but this is one of the more hollow scoring seasons of all time.

Kobe's stats aren't fully empty, because he's trying so hard on the floor, but he's getting piss poor results. I don't think that's entirely his fault, though.

When was the last time a guy averaging almost 30 ppg was left out of the ASG?
