I still have a feeling Lebron's gonna get snubbed this year. Don't know why, but it doesn't feel certain to me.

James is shooting like 57% on 27PPG, and 42% from the three point line, and then you take into account his play making ability, he is the best offensive player in the league.
Enjoy every sandwich.

I really want Parker or Cp3 to win.

The Durantula with his second career triple-double. He should be the leading MVP.

Obviously it doesn't feel certain when there are still like 30 games to go. It isn't like there is 2 games left or something.

At this rate, the Thunder might not even have a better record than Miami, let alone a 3-4 game lead

Durant is killing his MVP chances after each game

Re: Race to MVP IV
Lebron with 24/6/11 on 65% TS tonight. Durant with a triple double but likely a loss. Harden just shifted into god-mode and had arguably the game of the year against OKC. 46/9/6 on 95% TS is even better than a monster Lebron game. Clearly a new King James in town, if you hadn't realized that already.
But in his home dwelling...the hi-top faded warrior is revered. *Smack!* The sound of his palm blocking the basketball... the sound of thousands rising, roaring... the sound of "get that sugar honey iced tea outta here!"

Re: Race to MVP IV
to be honest, the REAL MVP leader SHOULD be Tony Parker right now. Playing most of the season without Manu and large chunks without Duncan. Best record in the league and putting up 30p and 10 assists on a regular basis of late. That to me is a true MVP candidate.

Parker won't get it. How many guys have won mvp that have not started in the allstar game that season?

I love Parker but it's not just about wins. LeBron deserves it more than him if you think about production/defense and team record .

Durant needs to stop getting outplayed by his adversaries. Lebron twice, kobe once and now the best sg in the league. These things hurt his mvp chances good

LeBron should get it barring some kind of crazy trade OKC gets that pushes them to 1st seed.
And it's worrying that they've lost 3 in a row. Contenders don't lose 3 in a row.

No not even close. The Spurs can win games without their big 3.... They are great due to their system. TP is not nearly as valuable as say guys like LBj, Durant, and CP3. No LBJ and the Heat would suffer greatly. When CP3 was out the Clippers were terrible. The Spurs without TP and just TD and Manu would still be borderline elite due to their system, role players, and coaching.
Only the playoffs separate the true great ones and frauds.

8 of the last 10 NBA champions had a losing streak of at least 3 games.

Not only did Miami lose 3 in a row last season they lost 3 in a row in a series as well.

James Harden should be a top 5 candidate.
