He'll be pretty good. He has a solid, all-around game. I know some knowledgeable Jazz fans who are in love with him. I've seen him compared to Mike Miller.

Jeff hornacek to Matt harping. I feel like Utah always has this guy.

He's gonna be a good player. Probably not great but top 10 SG soon?

I believe he's a guy who will continually improve his game and think he could be the 3rd best player on a contender.

I think he's more like Ginobili (in the role he plays, how he plays, not necessarily quality) than Hornacek, but I think he'll be a Hornacek-level player.

Mike Miller is his approximate ceiling which is a solid sixth man and a fringe starter for a good team.

He's really nothing like Harpring. Ginobili-lite is an ok comparison I guess. Thing about Gordon is he's a playmaker. He's a pretty good and versatile player, reasonable shooter, driver, a little bit crafty. But primarily, from the wing he gives you a very good pick and roll ball handler. Hayward-Favors is, what I hope as a Utah fan, the future in Utah.

Mike Miller is an ok comparison too, but I think Hayward could be better.

I think the best and most underrated thing about Hayward is his defense. He's a legitimately good defensive player, which is why I think Hayward could end up better then Miller.

I think that's a reasonable comparison, but I think he's on a career trajectory that will surpass Mike Miller's ceiling.

I see him as a good all around player. I think that makes him a solid, if unspectacular starter. He's needs one elite skill to move into the next rank of players. I don't know if he can get that. I think if he works very, very hard he could polish all aspects of his game. Shooting, ball handling, passing, defense, etc. If he could get 20% better across the board he could be a poor man's Grant Hill.

I think he's a good all-around player, but I don't think he'll be anything special.

Living in Indy, I got to see his Final 4 appearance as well as multiple Butler games, and he was something special then. I think another year in college could've done him good.

Adam Morrison? He's already above and beyond what Morrison will ever be.

He's a hard worker and I can see improve quite a bit and become an All-Star a few times.

I can see Hayward putting up 20/4/4 as soon as next year if he gets enough minutes.

His rebounds might be down if he's still playing 2 instead of 3.

His chasedown blocks are always impressive too.

Ya a white guy :-?

I think it's absurd when people compare white players to other white player just because they're well..white! Especially when their games are nothing alike! (I'm not white)

With that being said I believe he has the potential to be a Dan Majerle type of player, a nice shooting touch to go along with the athleticism and good BBIQ potentially to be 2nd tier all-defensive for years to come.

as a Pacer fan your also likely rating him worse because your probably annoyed by everyone in Indy wanting the team to draft/trade for him.

I think he shows flashes here and there. Just not great at anything.
