When will Miami's streak end?

Post#1 » by Heats_Finest » Mon Mar 4, 2013 9:24 am

Usually we have a thread when teams go on a massive losing streak, well when will Miami next lose? Currently the streak stands at 14. In my opinion the danger games in the next 10 odd are Indiana in 4 games time, than Milwaukee. I'm going to pick Indiana to end the streak at 17, they always play their hardest against Miami.

Miamis home streak - 11 wins
Miamis road streak - 6 wins

Miami are now on a 22 game winning streak, tying the 07-08 Rockets for the 2nd longest win streak in NBA history.

Miamis home streak - 12
Miamis road streak - 10

I feel it's going to be either Indiana or Atlanta.

damn that looks like a really weak schedule. If anyone it has to be the pacers.

I don't feel like they should lose to any of those teams, but I don't see them winning 23 straight. I think Orlando has the potential to be a trap game if Vucevic goes ham on the boards. Other than that obviously Indy plays against Miami well, but I don't think Miami let's Indy embarrass them again.

Miami hasn't played well against Milwaukee since the formation of the big 3, I think they're one of the only teams to either have a winning record against them, or atleast .500. They've just added Reddick and gotten stronger so it could be interesting. I hope the streak goes longer than what I've set out here as the schedule looks pretty easy for those games, but Miami has typically had trouble against Boston, Indiana and Milwaukee, so you'd have to think they'll be due to drop a game to one of those 3.

we suck against the Bucks and they just added Reddick lol

but honestly, tomorrow (well today vs Minny) is a total trap game... though they are banged up like hell, that better be a blow out...

Indy, Boston, Bucks are good candidates.... Atlanta...

we get everyone's best so... it's really a toss up

I feel like the Heat want to prove they can beat Indiana just like they did today with the Knicks. Though Indy is coming to us, so less intense really. But we got a bone to pick with them and with Granger back (I believe he's back), it might be interesting.

They had a tough game against the Bulls today.

Indy or ATL .. There's always let down games during the regular season. Miami nearly had one during this streak against Sacramento.

It's an impressive streak though, they've beaten some top quality opponents.

Houston
LAC
@ OKC
@ ATL
@ Chicago
Memphis
@ NYC

All quality teams.

Bucks
Pacers

or the Heat continue winning until the Spurs beat them up at the end of March in Tony Parker's return

Nah... Miami's won the past few at the AAA but IIRC they lost at the AT&T in 2011...

Not saying Spurs can't or won't beat us but doubt it will be a blowout but saying that given our amazing record in close games this year I think the Spurs best chance to beat us will be if it isn't close..

Miami started their win streak after a loss to the Pacers, so it would make for nice symmetry if they ended their streak with a loss to the Pacers as well :P

Honestly though, I think they'll probably end up losing to some scrub team that no one expected after letting their guard down, while beating all the good teams

Hopefully Indiana and they won't win @Boston regardless of the streak.

Indiana and Milwaukee(the Heat always have issues against them for some reason) are the 2 most likely teams to beat them.

Heat's streak is more impressive than Clippers' 16 game streak earlier this season.
My guess is Milwaukee 'heatkiller' Bucks will stop them. Heat massively struggle against them even when try very hard. In fact, I'd love to watch a playoff series between these teams.
