Parker to Utah
Exum to the Lakers
Wiggins to the Sixers

Those three seem like good fits.

I'm not a believer in the draft conspiracy theories. There's plenty of times when big-market teams have lost out. In the Oden-Durant draft of 2007 the Celtics fell to #5 and picked Jeff Green.

If they could add someone like Wiggins, Embiid or Parker to that core they could be a great team for the next decade. They also have the picks to acquire someone like Kevin Love if they wanted to go that route.

Moving up into the top 3 would push Minnesota down to 14, so the Suns would have 4 picks (1 top 3 pick + #14, #18, #27). I would be nice to see a team with a real bright future, run by a good young GM get lucky for a change.

It happened once before after Shaq's rookie season in Orlando. They moved from 14 to 1. It would be great to see it happen again.

It was in 93 when they drafted Webber, and the NBA actually changed the lottery format because of that. Phoenix has like a 1% chance at getting a top 3 pick, which makes it very very unlikely.

I'd love for that to happen though, them or the Wolves.

But you know, you gotta respect tradition, and this is about the time of the year when the Cavs usually win the lottery aint it.

 yeah if the Cavs win again I'm done with basketball.

Can't wait for the Celtics or Lakers to win it and everyone screaming conspiracy again.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Not sure why people think the Celtics have ever had anything other than bad luck in the lottery.

Also, my first thought last summer after hearing of the Kaman and Young signings was that the Lakers were getting ready to tank. Low efficiency volume scores who don't play much D is pretty much tanking gold. Thought that was obvious.

I'll say it again, Pistons. I don't even think we've ever won the lottery,

Parker or Wiggins with Drummond.

Seriously, if the Celtics win the lottery ( yeah right, not happening, we never get lucky) and people complain about a conspiracy, well **** them.

Here is the Celtics lottery history: http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/teams/ ... ry_History

A whole lot of nothing except failure. Getting bumped out of the Durant/Oden sweepstakes (ended up being a positive cause of great GMing but at the time is was devastating), constantly moving down. And the one time they move up, the guy they pick dies 2 days later. Be real people.

Okay, someone mark my post.

If conspiracy theories have any truth and it really happens, I will say Bucks get #1 pick.

When you win 17 championships, you tend not be in lottery very often, hence not being "lucky"

I'd imagine not many people have any sympathy for Celtics fans.

The Pistons certainly haven't tanked. They've left the #8 pick in last years draft glued to the bench and won every game down the stretch against the other tanking teams.

You can make a case for conspiracy for almost all of the top teams:

Lakers & Celtics are obvious
Bucks, Kings, Pistons all have new owners who haven't gotten their "thanks for buying a team" gift yet
Jazz - Jabari
Cavs - Nick Gilbert's never ending "make a wish" and the league determined to make sure basketball survives in Cleveland
Orlando - Making up for Dwight
Philly - league wants to make sure no one believes lotto is rigged
New York winning would just be cruel.
New Orleans - League knows Anthony Davis is the future and wants to help him.
Denver, Minny & PHX's chances are so small but they would all qualify the same way as Philly by people saying "there's no way it would be rigged for them".

Imagine Philly ends up with like Wiggins and Exum/Embiid/Parker/Randle. Two of any of the top 5 on the same team is crazy.

The pick is top 5 protected.
