Don't understand people running to be able to throw dirt on Kobe already. I don't get relishing in the loss of one of the best to ever play. No more Kobe in the NBA will be a sad thing.

I get that it is a crazy atmosphere and could be really fun drunk or to do once, but I wouldn't want to watch an entire game of basketball like that or with a crowd like that (as a viewer, as a player it would probably be awesome, though). I bet they miss a lot of what's going on in the game due to stuff like that

But to each their own
Why would you miss anything ?

Not miss, but not notice the whole games intricacies as well (having trouble putting this into words because I slept awful and feel terrible). Focusing on chants with the crowd more than the game? Thinking about what to do next instead of focusing on the players on the court? It's always harder for the brain to concentrate on 2 things at once

I honestly don't know though, I have never been to a game like that and like I said it seems like it could be a fun experience once or if I was hammered, but in my opinion, it doesn't look like a fun consistent game watching experience for me. A lot of people would probably rather that, though and more power to them.

like you said, you dont know. trust me its the best possible atmosphere for a basketball game. the chants happen mostly before the game(timeouts etc), but when the game is being played they are all really into game and the crowd reacts to what happens on the court. there are people who are "hammered" but majority come to see the game and to support their club.

Rockets winning streak vs Spurs

Fact is that momentum in games is a real thing, while not tangible itself, you can tangibly see the effect it has when teams are on runs and how it can dramatically effect the outcome of games when you can generate any momentum.
