Not a big fan of Smith but this could possibly improve the team if Malone does what he did with Rudy.

What does the third team have to do?

Smith would be an upgrade on the PF and the Pistons have to take on "ugly" contracts if they want to dump J-Smoove.
Can´t see a 3rd team willing to take on such contracts like Carl Landry...

God I hope that we dump this guy and keep Monroe.

Front court will be known as the Gay Smith Cousins.

I'm sure it's so the Kings can trade Jason Terry to a playoff team, so I would think a team like Atlanta, Dallas, Indiana or Portland giving it a look.

Damn, if the Kings get Rondo too (highly unlikely but still):

Rondo
Stauskas
Rudy
Smith
Cousins

That 5 above is not too shabby, IMO.

Cheers, I'm sure Sacto could match salaries so it is interesting what they'd want a third team for.

I'd like to get Jeff Green out of the deal if possible. This deal works in the trade machine, though I'm not sure if its up to date with all the new cap figures after free agency, but it says its successful.

Smith to Kings
Green to Pistons
McLemore + Landry OR Thompson to Celtics (only one of Landry/JT need to be included)

Which team says no?

Smith is a very good player when he stays away from the long jumpers. He just needs the right coach.

Woodson got through to him & he shot over 50%

maybe Mike Malone can get to him too.

With a bench full of D-Leaguers, because after they throw the farm at the Celtics for Rondo and being way over the cap limit, I'm not exactly sure what they would have left to put on the court after these 5 sit down.

They are NOT trading McLemore for Smith, give me a break.

Not sure what C's are looking for in a Rondo deal but...

DET trades Smith, 2nd for Thompson + Green
BOS trades Rondo, Green, 2nd for McLemore, D. Williams, T. Outlaw, Future Sac 1st
SAC trades McLemore, Williams, Outlaw, Thompson, Terry, 1st for Smith, Rondo
PHI trades TPE for Terry, BOS 2nd, DET 2nd

Smith is not a guy you want on your team. That contract is horrible. Add Rondo in there and you have three guys that have bad attitudes. You guys will be the next jail blazers.

Yeah, it's probably one or the other in this case.

As long we throw back most of our bad contracts at them, I think the salary is a moot point, tbh.

Like you said, Smith's attitude is a concern but Malone handled both Rudy & Cousins well. Why can't Smith follow? I don't think he has a "cancer" attitude but he is perceived as lazy & stupid. Not a good mix but can be controlled with the proper head coach. Is Malone one of them? Maybe.

I hope the Knicks don't get in on this by sending Amare/Bargnani for Landry/Thompson.

If you got some inside info on the Kings, let us hear it. If not, don't go around saying stuff like its fact, when you don't know any more than anyone else here.

I could say they ARE trading McLemore for Smith, give me a break, but that would be idiotic because I don't know what they are going to do
