I'll admit he looks like the best player on the court in this video.

Seriously though, I'm rooting for him but I won't believe it until I see it during the season. Every offseason guys "improve" certain aspects of their game and it just doesn't translate.

I shoot left handed and only go to my left when playing with younger kids. Just trying to improve my weak hand.

But that generally gets blocked when I play with real competition.

Same here. Love his hustle and energy. Hopefully the release has really changed. Like you said it doesn't really translate because in real game time when the pressure is on guys usually revert to what they are comfortable with. MKG needs to really make it his priority to work on his release even harder.

Just so everyone knows, definitely not implying he is a good shooter now or even an improved shooter. Just a lot of people acted like he would never be able to take that awful hitch out of his shot. I'm sure he will still be pretty terrible, maybe even worse, this upcoming year. Changing mechanics that drastically can't be good for your %s

but he still got that weird little hitch right before his release

this was the IMPROVED version from last season. So yeah, its gotten better.

I like what he's doing in this church league with little boys and girls playing against him, but he's not legit until he proves this in the ProAm circuit, and he's not a superstar until he dominates the Summer League.
