I've crunched the numbers on this one.

This isn't a super team imo. Irving and Love aren't as good as Bosh and Wade in 2010. Irving, Love, Varejao, and Mike Miller carry significant injury risk. Rookie euro coach. Limited defense save LeBron. No center depth at all for when Varejao goes down (as he has the past 3-4 years).

People love to be reactionary, but this team has legitimate holes. They'll be fun to watch, but I don't see outright dominance. I see a top 3 team in the east that will probably be a notch below 3-4 teams out west.

I think your post says it as simply and succinctly as possible and to think that I gave Cleveland 52 wins in year one, actually overshot a Cavs fan's projection by 2 games, speaks to an objectivity which rarely is seen, especially when your team may be enjoying one of the most exciting off seasons in sports history. I commend you for your levelheadedness. especially when a few of Cleveland's other fans here are giving you a hard time.

Once Cleveland fortifies its front-line with a stud center and gain a season playing together, I'll be able to see them winning 58 games which, in a conference that will have much more parody in 2016 than the past 20 seasons, will probably be in contention for one of the first two seeds.

Who knows how good this team could be, considering that the Cavaliers already have the top NBA player in the world, a top 10 player who is only 25 years old, and a young PG who is already poised to be an all-star for the next 12 years?

What's your prediction for the amount of games NY will win?

Definitely less than my prediction for Cleveland 8-)

I think the Knicks have a good shot to get the second seed along with Miami both of who will trail the bulls.

Washington and Cleveland will battle for HC in the 1st round

Everything goes right again like last year for the raptors and they're 6th

Considering the state of this Eastern Conference, nearly any scenario barring simultaneous major injuries to 2-3 of their top players, they'll win 50. Above 60 with relative health. The bottom of the East will just roll over, the middle of the East really sucks, and the top of the East isn't much better apart from about 3-4 teams. I'd give them a range of 56-62 games.

Voted 60+, 65+ is possible, but it'll be a very tough feat to accomplish in the first season together, plus with a rookie NBA head coach. Either way, too much damn talent IMO to not reach 60 in such a weak East/easy schedule.
