If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.
NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Re: M.I.P this year
Guys like Davis and Derozan would have to have amazing years too win it seeing as they are already putting up big stats.
This is a award I could see a guy like Valanciunas winning seeing as he's probably better then his numbers suggested last season. Like say he puts up 17 and 10 this year.

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.
Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

I'm expecting a big year from Derrick Favors.

MiP will be Trey Burke, Alec Burks, Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors, or Enes Kanter.
Nothing too fancy.
I was going to say Trey Burke.
But the player that is going to make a splash is going to be Otto Porter.

Re: M.I.P this year
the fun Part about MIP is that its so hard to predict... most of the Times its someone no one had on the radar
its most of the time some 3d or 4th year young player who finally breaks out
or a guy any age that sees an radical increase in Playing time/Role

Dion Waiters
Derrick Rose
Kobe
Larry Sanders
Josh Smith
Brandon Jennings
Any of the young Jazz players
I think that players with a really crappy coach last season having a better one this time will make a huge difference

Some statements are so ridiculous they should result in a timeout, so the poster can sit in a corner and think about what he wrote.

Yeah Bobby Simmons winning it in 05" is a great example of how random the guys are.

Re: M.I.P this year
My guess would be Jeremy Lin, considering his numbers last season. But with the whole 'Lin-sanity' thing, I'm not sure he'll get the award since the media thinks he's a star anyway.
