I just came in here to say Goodell is terrible. That is all.

Silver has impressed me in a short amount of time.

Recency effect.

Although that is not immune to me. The only thing I didn't like that's Silver's done is messing up the dunk contest.

And why isn't Stern on the list?

Goodell is lucky that the NFL is such a monster product. Dude is an absolute clown.

Silver get the W by default. Stern curb stomps both Goodell and Selig.

I really like Silver but I have no idea who the other two guys are.

I think that a Tagliabue/Stern/Selig comparison would be more appropriate, considering they were contemporaries far longer that the ones mentioned so far. Although it seems much longer, Goodell has only been NFL commissioner for roughly 7-8 years. He just had to deal with a lot of controversy (or more media backlash from it, can't say that the NFL is more scandalous now that it was 10-15 years ago....)

Silver has been in for too short of a time to give a proper assessment, also...

The dunk contest has been terrible for years and is pretty irrelevant since you find the truly innovative dunks on Youtube these days. If the stars aren't competing, then what is the draw exactly?

Goodell suspended Ray Rice for 2 games for knocking out his wife in a public place on camera.
Goodell suspended Wes Welker for 4 games for poppin a molly during the offseason.
Goodell suspended Josh Gordon for the entire season for failing a marijuana test for trace amounts.

How backwards is that?!

Well, I don't know how to do with Selig. How do you compare young guys with someone with such a lengthy track record?

Between Silver & Goodell, to me Silver's done nothing but impress, but Goodell's most noteworthy moments are negative. It's not exactly an apple-to-apple comparison, but such as it is, gimme Silver.

Seeing how Silver has managed to get out of bed in the morning and walk to the bathroom without stepping on his d1ck every day for two weeks in a row, he beats out Goodell.
