predict your teams win total for the season

Post#1 » by suge knight » Mon Sep 29, 2014 9:58 pm

cavs will be a 59-63 win team. the east is just to weak now. lbj or kd will be mvp of the league( which really doesnt even matter since we play for the rings, not mvp awards)

what do you think your teams record will be this coming season

This'll rattle some people, but I've been saying 44-49 wins for the Knicks, and that they win the Atlantic over a Raps squad that overachieved last year.

Favors not starting was more of Corbin's fault. Hopefully Exum is our answer at PG, and I think Burks will surprise people. I'm overall happy with what Lindsey has done.... So far

Spurs

60+ wins !
Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”

Clippers had an expected wins of 59 games last season and won 57. CP missed 20 games, and while he misses games here and there, 20 is not the norm. Anywhere from 6-10 is okay. Redick only played 35 games or so, and again, that is our of character for him. Big man depth is much better and the Clippers 3 big men are healthy players.

I think 60 wins is attainable with decent health, great health could get to 62 range. The problem of course is that I can't think of a time with three 60 win teams, and SAS, LAC and OKC are all 60 win capable teams. 08-09 in the East had Cleveland (66), Boston (62), Orlando (59). 06-07 had Dallas (67), Phoenix (61) and SA (58). 02-03 had San Antonio (60), Dallas (60), Sacramento (59). This means that 60 wins would likely put LAC above either SAS or OKC in regular season ranking, so it will be interesting to see what happens.

EDIT: Found it, 97-98, Utah (62), Settle (61), LA Lakers (61), so maybe we'll see three teams again, maybe, a lot of good teams in the West.

dckingsfan put together the mean/median prediction on the wiz boards annual prediction thread (at least it seems to becoming annual). I believe the Mean was 48.8 while the median was 48. I'll take a slightly more positive outlook and say 49. Would like to crack the 50 mark but that is really continent on Randy implementing a more creative offense...which...won't simply happen since he's dry as a bone. Here's hoping though!
