Randle looking like hes been working on his jumper.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

I haven't watched him at all during the preseason, but that sounds like it'll be really good for his game. Allows him to stretch out his defender more and use that quickness for his size more.

I saw him a bit, even in SL, trying to force the issue driving in from the perimeter inside, but he'd be forcing it into the interior defense because they giving him the space to stay in front of him.

They've been arguably the best rookies in the preseason.

I know, right? It's almost like they're both four to five years older than many of the other highly touted rookies in their class.

Mirotic is looking better every day. Tougher defender than I thought he'd be. Handles the ball like a guard. Solid pickup for CHI.

Point is they've been very solid so far in their first season. Even if they're a bit older.. I really think Ennis can be a very good player.

Preseason is cool, it gets everybody excited for their rookies before reality sets in.

There is absolutely no need to downplay or devalue their success, even if they're older rookies. Completely uncalled for.

Napier
.216 WS/48
26.57 PER
20.9 USG%

Ennis
.226 WS/48
26.25 PER
27.0 USG%

They will both be beasts and Miamis bench is looking very underrated right now.

I love how nobody talked about jabari in this thread until he had that 21 point game. All the sudden he has one good game (that wasn't even televised) people start praising him. He has not shot well at all in summer league or preseason. He is not as polished offensively as people say he is. He air balled a free throw for crying out loud lol. He has things to work on just like all these other rookies. Don't get me wrong he is good, but people act like he is going to be some elite offensive player his first year.

Please tell me where I even mentioned Wiggins in my post? I clearly said "all rookies" because every rookie has been analyzed on a game-by-game basis (their strengths and weaknesses), yet we don't hear about jabari until he has a good game.

Cynical if anything. Should we put those two at a deficit because of their age? They're playing well. We shouldn't assume that the other rookies will somehow play at a much higher level just because they are younger. They are older rookies than the one and dones who came before them. Don't disparage them for playing well. It sounds petty.

It's still hunting season on the Heat it seems. You would think a 13 year board veteran would show more maturity.
