Re: Bruno Caboclo
I hope he becomes a rotation guy in the next few years but too early to tell. The fact that he can already be disruptive defensively and hit the NBA 3 is a good start. Now to develop Bball IQ.

I don't think he's done anything to justify having a thread created for him on some place other than the Raptors board.

Its either 7''7 or 7''6.5. If im not mistaken hes biggest in the league right now, even including bigs. So biggest for a wing in history would be likely.
Wow look where he jumps from

The front office reached. At 20 you have nothing to lose but I wouldn't have gone with him. Unfortunately I see more bust than high reward. I'd be surprised if he's not playing somewhere in China by age 25.

Cmon...6 points in a preseason game. That's future all-star right there.

In all fairness, he just turned 19.

He is the same age and Exum. I would not say they are on par, in fact I would not say they are on the same course. Bruno is trying to putt through the windmill, whereas Exum has graduated to the driving range.
Props to Turbo_Zone for the sig.

Gobert has the biggest wingspan on record at 7'9".

They are completely different players. One is an allrounder who can pretty much do everything on the court and the other is someone who is basically just good at shooting 3's at this point.
I guess Bruno might have good potential as a defender but right now he seems totally lost on that end as well.

Re: Bruno Caboclo
Some of you need to realize how old this kid is, he'll be a starter by the time he is 21 or 22. He has 3 important things going for him right now; A three point shot, extra-ordinary length/reach and defensive potential. If' he's able to study the game and get stronger/quicker, he'll realize his potential and surprise a lot of people.

Re: Bruno Caboclo
Right now Bruno has zero anticipation skills, the game is moving too fast for him but that's too be expected. He's a few years away from contributing to an NBA team but If he lives in the gym for the next few years his potential is off the charts. When has the NBA ever seen a wing player with his type of wingspan?

Not sure why non-Raptor fans would even have an opinion on him. Nobody, Raptor fans included, knew who he was when he was drafted & since then he's played summer league & what, 4 preseason games?

Rawish, high potential player player. Best case, 2 year away from starter minutes.
By the virtue that he is a legit NBA prospect, the Raptors scout who pushed for him deserves a bonus.

Re: Bruno Caboclo
Yea Bruno needs work on his position, he tends to over help so much even before anything happens, so it looks like he is running around with his head cut off. He is good at recovery though, but he shouldn't always have to recover if he was in good positions.

His being "lost" on defence is mostly just getting hung up on screens, which is very fixable.
