I'm not a guy that screams "OVERPAY!" with every contract. But overpay.

It seems like a lot of money, but with the cap set to jump a heap, this deal won't seem so dreadful. They are hedging on the fact the Kemba will improve again this year, if he does, then this deal will look amazing. If he doesn't then if the cap jumps to around 75M this deal won't even affect them that much.

But still, Kemba got paid.

Bill Simmons said that PGs are starting to become the RBs of the NFL, meaning they are a dime a dozen. If that's the case this is a huge overpay.

BTW, now Kemba is making more money than Serge Ibaka. WOW.

Bad short term, decent long term. Meh. I like Kemba, hopefully he warrants the money down the line.

I know everyone posts this all the time, but the cap. It will jump by ~35% the next 2 seasons. If Kemba were on a 4/35 contract right now I don't think too many people would say it's a ridiculous overpay.

Yikes. Too much for a guy that can't even shoot .400.

This whole 'cap is going up' justification is kind of getting annoying. If a guy is overpaid then he's overpaid.

Just cus its gonna sting a little less in a few years doesn't mean it won't sting at all.

Not saying this just for Kemba but for all contracts lately.

good deal. if he gets his efficiency up he could be a 20/5/7 player with average defense, not to mention he is the leader of the team.

When you think almost all the players that are getting paid are overpaid, we've got a problem.
