Nike knows their target audience.
Everyone associated with the city of Cleveland is standing doe eyed with their wallets open.

Much better than the Nike LeBron circle jerk commercial.

The best part is how many gullible fools eat up this "coming home" fictional narrative.

Interestingly enough he did in fact 'come home' so by definition its not fictional.
Corny, cheesy, etc. maybe, but not fiction.

I liked the the Miami one where they are running and following him better. This seemed blah to me.

He literally went away and came home. How is that a fictional narrative again?

LeBron turned down making a new Space Jam but agreed to this trashy commercial.

He's not from Cleveland. He's from Akron. Not the same city. Cleveland was never his home.
And the idea that he "went home" rather than making what he felt was the best decision for his basketball career is indeed a fictional narrative. He went where he felt the grass was greener, and where he felt he would have more control. He also went for the image repair job. Nothing more...

Said it in another thread, basketball commercials should be about just one person. Always works better that way.

No no no. He went back to CLE our of the goodness of his heart. It didn't matter that they had Kyrie and the assets from multiple number 1 picks given to them, to land Love. I mean, it was just an odd coiencendece that Wiggins and Bennett were left out of "his" letter. Had nothing to do with getting rolled over by the spurs and looking at his buddy Wade on the wrong side of 30.... Nah man, he just went up because "it's bigger then basketball".
How can Cavs fans bend over like a desperate ex for this guy, is crazy to me. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

So I take it you don't think Carmelo Anthony went home/is playing for his hometown team either - I mean he's from Brooklyn, and the Knicks play in New York City....
