Taj looks hurt. If there's something the Bulls couldn't use it's more injuries.

Could it be karma from the Dunleavy play?

If going back his reaction alone, Taj missing games is gonna hurt them tremendously. That's Rose, Gasol, Gibson, AND Kurt out.

Looking at the injury it does look like he sprained it. He planted it firmly on Matthew's foot at an angle. That doesn't look good at at considering it didn't look like he turned it.

I seem to remember a lot of the Kyrie Irving fans complaining when I said Lillard was better than him after Team USA. I didn't even say vastly, I simply said he had showed more. Hmmm...

Anyone care to revisit that debate?

I knew Noah would miss that. It seems like the easiest shots are the ones he struggles with.

We still boo Hedo. No one can match the lasting power of our anger and bitterness.

No need to revisit that debate, Kyrie isn't a top 5 PG in the East.

I was saying in those threads that Lillard should have made Team USA over Rose since Lillard is better at hitting 3's. Instead the FIBA World Cup turned into "Derrick Rose rehabilitation sessions."

They left Damian open at three and Dunleavy ran toward him. Instead of stopping or trying to block the shot he just kept running and pushed both arms into Damian's arms and head as he was in the air. It was a dangerous play. They wont soon forget. I mean, they haven't forgoten Ariza's accidental career-changing flagrant on Rudy Fernandez.. and that was in 2008 or 2009.

Well that was stupid. And unnecesary. Frustration, I guess.

Lillard has been playing great this year. Ok, his first 3 games stunk, but since then there are few playing better. The guys is playing well enough to earn legitimate MVP talk. I know he's got Aldridge but Lillard has been a monster. His defense isn't perfect but so, so much better. His play making and finishing at the rim are better too. Still a clutch and deadly shooter with infinite range. We'll see if he keeps it up, but if he does I'd have him as probably the 4th best PG even if everyone is healthy.

That's basically been his career since his Linsanity run ended-- consistently inconsistent. Either great highs or terrible lows, rarely in between.

This bench unit for Portland is just awful.

Edit: and then they put the game out of reach. Still, that was some uber-ugly play for several minutes.
