Not a chance in hell. They're in the West and have been relatively healthy compared to other top West contenders.

Great question. Yes, yes we can.

No. Maybe next year. I think they will go 73-9 in 2016 but lose in the finals to the Cavs, blowing a 3-1 series lead.

Obviously it's highly unlikely but I wouldn't be surprised if some team eventually beats it. Dominant team + great depth + great luck with injuries + a few lucky bounces here and there should be enough to do it. This year's Warriors probably aren't quite dominant enough but eventually one day a team will be.

No. Bogut will get injured like he does every year. They are good though.

The Bulls were 41-3 heading into February.

41-3!

18-2 is good and all, but those Bulls had many things going for them (ignoring the "watered down" factor):

-They were hungry and pissed off because of their loss the previous year
-They had the GOAT with something to prove
-They had the perfect balance of offense and defense AND the perfect coach to channel it
-Their main players were all experienced at winning
-MJ was at his peak mentally and leader-ship wise
-The whole team clicked at a level I've never seen before or since

So it was a perfect storm of great players, great leaders great coaching, all the right reasons to dominate the league.

And if you believe the watered down thing, there's that as well.

So no, GS will NOT beat 72-10. I'm willing to put money on it.

No... 08-09 Celtics started with a 27–2 record, meaning they were on the pace to win over 76 games.

At the end of the season they had 62-20 record, 2nd seed.

Not even remotely close. There's a better chance they'll finish under 60 wins.

This thread exists for some western conference team every season. The answer is always no.

no, but they will win 60+ so that's pretty good. I like that they are winning and playing low minutes.

I recall more eastern teams having a start like this in recent memory.

No chance. Really nice team, though.
