Or anyone that specializes in trick shots for that matter.

Bring him in only if you have the last possession of the quarter. His job is to get open and shoot from half-court. Potentially a 12 point swing that could help a team rack up a few more wins, and because you only bring him in these specific situations, you don't have to worry about him being a liability on defense.

Think of him as a specialist like a punter or a kicker in football.

I'm serious, I mean we have players getting paid that never see any game time due to being the 13th man. We have 3 point "specialists" who do nothing else and still don't break 40%. Why not bring in a trick shot specialist who can hit long range shots at a high clip.

I think he probably wont get open enough to make it. In theory and just in theory could be a option but in real life players will just press him and he wont get open even with screens, players will fight them in time to defend.
