2 Points:

1. The Hawks aren't the Spurs ..people need to Stop! Popovic,3 HOFmers and Experience are not replacable.
They play great and i like them.. but they are Spurs "light" at the most. People fail to understand what a difference experience makes..

2. Quick Update: Love has been playing good! defense since Mozgov is beside him! and Kyrie has now totally shut down Paul,Rose,Walker,Westbrook and Lillard in the Streak. especially Kyrie is not a bad defender anymore in fact he is starting to look very good.

Hawks may not be the spurs but the spurs arent even the same spurs... Kyrie has one stretch of playing decent defense but dont get carried away in saying that he still isnt a below average defender.

In this league guys are whatever they have been recently. Kyrie has recently been a good defender, both team and on the ball. At the very least, we should be able to admit he is very capable of being a good defender.

Josh smith has a good stretch of playing good but he will still be called a chucker, Harden has a good stretch of playing decent defense still considered a bad defender are we suppose to just shed that for Kyrie? But yes we can consider him capable its just a matter if he can do it for a long period of time.

Still standing by my pre-season prediction of them winning the East.

The biggest test for the Hawks would be their reaction after losing 2-3 games in a row. Will they keep trusting their teammates? Will they stick to their system or will they be Indiana 2.0?
Cavs vs Hawks 7 games series will be fun!

Well, hopefully for them they don't trade for Andrew Bynum.

I still feel the Hawks ball movement and defense can hold everyone else while Lebron gets his.

Don't forget that Cleveland started the season not so hot, recovered to a decent record, then stumbled to a losing record again before this win streak so we still don't know if this win streak is indicative of how far the Cavaliers can go. Atlanta has a better chance of making the finals than Cleveland does this year because of the differences in chemistry between the two teams. Next year might be a different story, but theres no reason to discount Atlanta's success because of Cleveland's shortcomings this season.

DeMaree Carroll or Thabo are their best option, neither had any kind of sucsess against Lebron so far.

Also the Spurs didnt exactly "stop" Lebron either.. He did 26,6/9.6/6,1 at 50%fg against them in the last two finals combined
2014 the Heat exept Lebron ran out of Gas in the Finals Wade did 15ppg Bosh 14ppg
Also the Spurs where indredibly Hot.

I'm just glad I won't be seeing Miami in the ECF again, I'm sorry but 4 straight years in the ECF just makes basketball seriously boring to watch if you know who's going to be in it.

Discounting Atlanta?
3/4 of the thread is still saying ATL is still the team to beat

Cleveland-Atlanta will be a battle. As long as Cleveland is healthy, I don't see them losing to Chicago, Toronto, or Washington.

No team with Lebron can be ruled out. But I still like Chicago or Atlanta ahead of the Cavs.

What of Chicago's performance makes you think they should be mentioned along with the Hawks?
