Worst playoffs ever (well at least recently)

so boring and predictable. This post season has just been dull. 2-3 good series in the entire playoffs so far.

Not very many good series. Clips rockets, clips Spurs, Grizzlies warriors, Bulls cavs, maybe Hawks wiz and that's it. That is 5 good series out of 14. Last year there was only one bad Series in the west. And the east had the would the pacers actually blow it storyline hanging over and some good other series like raptors nets. There is just nothing this playoffs and I'm disappointed

It's been really bad so many injuries, choke jobs, blowouts, and most importantly Fraudulent teams that just makes this year's NBA playoffs so lackluster. HOU should have been a first round exit don't know what they are doing in the WCF, MEM after all these years still haven't figure out they need 3pt shooters, Clips need CPR, Spurs didn't care this season, Hawks are in Fraudlanta, and the Bulls are still LBJ's sons. out of 14 series we had one good series, 5 meh series and 8 terrible series.

I disagree. No one was expecting any competitive series outside of SA/Clips in the first round yet Milwaukee and Brooklyn put up great fights, and of course the one series that was expected to be close ended up being one of the best first round series of all time. And then the Rockets/Clippers was one of the best comebacks in a series of all time. Those two series alone is enough to make this not the worst playoffs ever.

The Chicago/Cleveland series was also exciting with back to back buzzer beaters. Paul Pierce's buzzer beater (and near buzzer beater) also made for some dramatic moments.

Most importantly, we don't even know how the most important series (NBA Finals) will play out.

Recent injuries and lopsided conference finals have been a bit of a bummer but it happens.

the problem is spurs were down so early, their early bad plays cost them the chance to compete with GSW.

Totally agree, the east especially has been awful. I can't remember a playoffs being this lopsided, worst I've seen that's for sure.

I think these playoffs will have the least number of games played since moving to the 7 game format. Maybe a competitive finals will save it, but getting two sweeps in the ECF and WCF is unprecedented.

The majority of the people that say it's boring are those that don't have their team playing. The playoffs have been just fine. There have been plenty of heroics and plenty of close games. The only really bad series was the Raptors vs Wizards. Other than that most of them have been competitive. But people tend to look at the final outcome without really looking into the actual series. For example, the Rockets vs Warriors. This thread was made because of game 3. This series can potentially end as a 4-1 but because game 3 was a stinker, somehow that negates game 1 and 2 that were extremely competitive and went down to the wire. The series could easily be 2-1 Rockets. That's how competitive it's been with exception of one game. But hey, the Warriors are up 3-0. It must be a bad series.

When was the last time we had 2 sweeps in the conference finals? I've been watching since 96-97 and I don't ever recall it occurring

You think the Cavs Hawks series has been good? Are you excited about what will happen during the rest of the series?

LOL. During the first round there was a thread about how this is the WORST playoffs ever. During the second round someone made a thread about how this is the BEST playoffs ever. Now we are back to WORST.

Personally, I'm having fun.

It's a great storyline. Watching Lebron lead his team without Irving and Love and trusting his role players to step up has been extremely intriguing. Especially against a 60 win team like the Hawks.

Well, I guess are just very non-picky about deriving enjoyment from basketball games so more power to you. Personally, I think these conference finals have been an absolute disaster. There is zero intrigue.

Weak east with two gimpy teams and the gimpier one is winning, and warriors owning the rockets. 2014-2015 playoffs are a bust

Realgm: where bipolar disorder happens.

Just goes to show that perspective is everything. The playoffs are as good as you make them out to be, and there's been plenty of great stuff this year.

Someone says this every year. There's good storylines if you take blinders off. Not always about it having to be a 7 games series, and heck there have been some good series anyway.
