Coincidence after the Korver incident?

Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Man, I really think Dellavedova may get suspended next game upon NBA review.

I have seen players dashing for the balls, but not sure if a body leaned to the opponent is common like how Dellavedova did his.

I didn't believe it after the Korver incident but IMO he knew exactly what he was doing going into Horford's leg.

I think it was dirty. He gathers his feet and lunges for Horford sideways knowing he is only going to hit his knee or ankles.

Watch him push off both he feet. He could have stumbled down but chose to lunge at Horford.

You can't see it in the vine clip it's a second or two before that vid

Fool me once and so on...

It's no coincidence this keeps happening. Going for opponents ankles/knees, that's about as low as you can get on basketball court.

From the other angle, I noticed he looked back at Horford before he lunged and/or fell into him. Now, he could have been looking down to see where he was going to land, but I don't think so...

It looks like Delly was trying to dive into Horford's legs and he had a Korver flashback and dropped the elbow.

Horford dragged him back! Where would someone that small be likely to go?

That fall is after Horford was pulling Dellavedova down on his shoulder though. It's not like he just dived into him, Horford pulled an Olynyk then finished him with a WWE style elbow drop.

There is no doubt in my mind that he went for the leg. Horford felt it and pulled his leg back.

I am not even joking but I would be legit worried if I were the Warriors. The NBA needs to warn him to not play so "recklessly".

Yes, he's throwing his body on purpose

It looks to me like Della is driving his legs as he is falling. If the ref gave him a T because he thinks he did it on purpose he should have been ejected. That is a sorry ejection and just sad. Taj Gibson got a bad ejection thanks to a Della play. Now this play. That Gibson play may have won them that Chicago series. That play probably just ended any chance of the Hawks making this a series.

I honestly don't understand how anyone can say this wasn't a dirty play.

It's extremely clear that he actually gathers himself and lunges even further onto Al's knees. Watch the replay carefully.
