Can't be worse than Prigioni.

What's going to happen with Nick Johnson's development, tho?

He better practice his three and defense now, since he's going to spend a lot of time waiting in the corner and cover Harden's ass at the other end

I dont think Harden expected this when he said he would like another playmaker on the team.

I'm confused by his situation.

The Rockets own his draft rights, so that means he can only sign with Houston... right? But then he will count towards their cap like he was any other unrestricted free agent signee, instead of a rookie draftee? Unlike rookie draft picks, the Rockets would first have to go under the cap before signing him. Or am I misunderstanding.

Maybe someone can explain.

Llull is one of the best guard in Europe. He can definetely ball, but he is not a playmaker, he is more like the prototypical combo guard who can shoot and drive and score the ball. He is really an aggressive player, who leaves on intensity and emotions.

He is great but i dunno if he can fit Rockets needs.

Wait what?!

Why not just resign Beverly on a similar deal (certainly he will not get much more than that) that's actually younger and worlds better defender.....maybe his injury is worst than described?

What happens to Nick Johnson?

I'm confused.
PM me if you can help a brotha finally get an AVI.

Llull excels in high pace offense, a high pace veteran who knows how to run a team. Seems like a good fit, but thats definitely a lot of money to the guy who is yet to prove anything in this league.

Can't wait for some lame, "And Sergio Lulls the defender to sleep" line.

I really like Llull and I think he will fit very well with the Houston. However, 8 mil. a season seems like a lot. Nikola Mirotic go 18/3 this offseason, so...

draft right doesn't count toward cap space
Rockets can spend the full MLE to sign him which is estimate 24 million for 3 years

I hope he turns into a a Luis Scola rather than Spanoulis.

Johnson aka the Rockets captain is more of a 2 than 1. His handle is never good enough to be developed as a full-time 1.

A few direct consequences as I interpreted:
- Rockets will run on very tight cap
- Terry will be gone, or either accept vet min
- Papanikalou's team option will be picked and then traded
- Terrance Jones will be on the block
- Morey has saved MLE for Josh Smith
