Top 5 picks 2016

Post#1 » by LuxHeat » Sat Jul 4, 2015 10:30 pm

Who do you think will finish at the bottom next year?

I guess Sixers are the favourites again, followed by the T-Wolves and Lakers. Knicks won't be as bad as this year with Melo returning and some decent FA signings.

Here's my 'Top 5':

1.. Sixers
2. Wolves
3. Lakers
4. Nuggets
5. Magic/Pistons/Nuggets

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank the entire Knicks organization for the efforts in helping the Raptors with rebuilding via their unprotected 2016 pick. I am sure Denver is appreciative as well.

If the Wolves get a top 3 pick I'm confident in saying that they will build a dynasty for the next decade. The only thing they need is a PF and there are 2 elite PF's in the top 5 with Skal Labissiere and Dragan Bender. One of these two and that team looks scary. They complement the other players perfectly as well.

I would be shocked if Minnesota is that low.

Ricky Rubio/Tyus Jones
Kevin Martin/Zach LaVine
Andrew Wiggins/Shabazz Muhammad
Kevin Garnett/Nemanja Bjelica (Euro-League MVP)/Adreian Payne
Karl Anthony-Towns/Gorgui Dieng/Nikola Pekovic

Nikola Pekovic should also be back around December from what I understand. No way we are a bottom five team in my opinion.

Neither the Sixers nor the Wolves will be in the bottom 3 in 2016.

exactly my thoughts. That would be crazy, might as well get a 4th consecutive number one pick with some luck ans get Ben Simmons

I will not underestimate the Knicks, when it comes to the topic of this thread.

I BELIEVE YOU ARE INDEED BACK... in the lottery, with our pick.

hmm you might be right on the Wolves but Sixers I don't know, who did they add other than Jahlil? Doesn't look like Embiid will be playing much either..

Plus they had MCW for a good portion of last year, who's not on the team anymore

They might yeah. But I feel like they'll get a lot better on offense with Okafor in the middle. If they can keep the defense on a comparable level that should make them finish outside the bottom 3.

As an Aussie, I hope Simmons goes to a team with big upside potential. Don't want him rotting away on a dysfunctional franchise.

I can't believe Philly will get the Lakers pick.

Me niether. I'm hoping that LA gets some lottery magic/luck/voodoo and gets a top 3 pick, since I don't think that they'll be bad enough to be a bottom 3 team (more like 6 or 7).
