Griffin is the best PF in the game this year, so him. Been better than love for 3 years.
Exactly
In what way is blake better than Love if u dont mind me asking? Love is the better shooter and rebounder, and hes probably the best passing big man in the league...Blake is just athletic, with a decent jumper now, and can attack the basket, kk...Lets see what he does when hes 30 though? Hes gonna be nothing without the athleticism lol, whereas k love will still have the shot, passing ability, and post ups he has over griffin right now. I rest my case.
Griffin is a significantly better defender, better finisher, better post up scorer, better passer/playmaker. Unlike Love, Blake can create for himself and get you 30+ without much help where as Love struggles to generate consistent offense by himself. Love is the better rebounder and 3 point shooter, that's literally it. Griffin has went up to nearly 50 percent shooting on midrange (elite, better than Love there) and is shooting 75+ percent from the line now.
Love is an All star, Griffin is a legit Superstar now.
ps. the idea that Griffin is an athletic based player with low skills is a 3 or 4 year outdated philosophy. Griffin actually hardly ever dunks now and most dominates now with the jumper, post moves and his passing. So to imply he's done once he's not relying on athleticism is a really weird analysis.
If you think Love has the edge in passing/post game you need to do more research. Love had one elite passing season. Blake is a CAREER 4+ apg player with a better than 2 to 1 A/TO ratio and a PG like assist percentage. He literally plays Point Forward for the Clippers the last 2 seasons. He brings the ball up, sets the offense really often.
Post game I don't need to explain much. Love is efficient this year in a really small sampling, but he's a pick and pop guy, not a dependable post up guy to feed the ball to down low. Up until last week Blake led the NBA in PPP from the post at an insane 1.50 ppp. Now a few games injured and shooting badly have taken him down to 3rd or 4th, but he's proven every year to be a post threat.
