Kinda funny that these two threads were on the first page of the Phoenix Suns board at the same time:

Another brilliant move by Phoenix FO. In less than a year, they were able to
- Alienate an all-nba player just coming off a career year.
- Trade an all-star player on a bargain contract for almost nothing.
- Lose one of the most promising pick in the next 2 years for signing a player (Knight) that they would still have been able to sign few months later.
- Gifting a Morris to Detroit and pissing the other, making him a cancer that is now very hard to trade.
- Signing 33 years old center (that should send part of his paycheck to Dirk) to a 4 year contract.
- Fire appreciated assistants (one just signed to Cleveland by the way)
Next moves ?
- Blame fans impatience and players frustration on being millenials.
- Fire the coach who had no say in all those choices.

And asides from I.Thomas signing, all other moves were heavily criticized at the time.

Thank god for them they drafted Booker. Otherwise they would be in the Billy King levels of incompetence.

Yeah, not the best past year to be a Suns fan.

Some say Hornecek lost the team... but I think they lost him too.

He had to dumb down the offense for Bledsoe... then again for Knight... and now with those two Point Guardian Angels gone, the Suns have been gleaning the D-League for PG try outs... He has made public comments on the inability of the team to run set plays. Their last victory (1in 15 games) was tainted by Goodwin's game winning commentary about how he saw the play drawn up and immediately decided that he wasn't going to follow it... to just shoot himself.

This team has issues.... Hornecek being a minor one.

Yeah, when McDon'tKnowWhatToDo puts together a roster full of low iq players, they had to really dumb down the offense.

Hornacek may or may not be a good coach, we don't know.
He's been stiffed by the FO and been given a terribly fitting roster to work with.

Suns need to move all these vets, unfortunately, who the hell wants two-knee injury Bledsoe and now an overpaid Brandon Knight? Maybe Brooklyn will make a move since they need a PG.

Suns roster without Bledsoe sucks, no doubt. But that doesn't mean that Hornacek is good coach. One thing he is good for sure is improving players shoot. But he failed at everything other. This team had no organization on offense and defence, no chemistry, no discipline. If someone think Hornacek is good then please tell me how many Suns games he watched.

But I agree that timing was weird. He should either be fired before or keept for the rest of the season.

What kind of offense are you expecting with black hole point guards and no bigs who can get their own buckets? What kind of chemistry are you expecting with a GM who has no concept of roster cohesiveness and treats his players like pawns on a chess board?
