i think it'd be more fun to list tall players who are all neck and really measure shorter because of it.
there's one coming in next year, stephen zimmerman. he's got a neck that's one head long but fortunately he measures out at 7' anyway.

He is ready to take the step to only being two years away.

Here is a pretty comprehensive list of names from 1992-2015.

It has some glaring players that have "N/A" at the bottom of the page, but it is pretty impressive. It also shows the players measurements at different times, which is kind of interesting.

I am too lazy to chart it out at the moment, but going off of his reported 6'11" height, he looks to have arms around the area of 7'2", maybe 7'3". He had relatively long arms, but the main reason he was so dynamic defensively was how quickly he could get off of the ground.

Kevin Garnett's wingspan is considered to be around 7'5".

EDIT: I think I am going to stick with 7'2" for Hakeem Olajuwon.

Black people on average have longer arms and legs compared to torso size.

Asians are the other side.

That's why the league has so many black people: elite length and quick twitch athletic ability are both much more common among black people.

5"11 and a bit, and I have a 6"3.5 wingspan.. I've always been solid defensively and at blocking shots for my height.

Anyway Pau Gasol seems to be one of the few white guys with long arms. I think because he has a narrow frame it takes away from his wingspan but Pau looks like he barely jumps when he goes up for a dunk.

I'm 6'1 with a wingspan of 5'11.

Dreadful for my career!

(well that and the fact I had about a 3 and a half inch vertical)

You were the kind of guy that my teammates would force me to post up and then would block me. And I'd get chirped for being blocked by a guy like 7 inches short than me.

I'm 6'6'' with a 6'11 wingspan. Too bad I'm terrible at basketball and have to suffer trying to find 38 sleeve length dress shirts. :banghead:

Myles Turner 7'4" Wing Span

9'4" Standing Reach

Standing reach is a interesting stat, Turner had the 2nd highest at this years combine.

Naah, I don't think I would be able to block you. Wingspan or not, you are too tall for me. I might steal the ball from you though. :D

I don't see my hands as long and was surprised when I say my wingspan.I do have a wide frame on the other side. I used to be a swimmer for many years and competed at national and sometimes international championships. I was really good at butterfly. Not sure i got my frame because of it, or I was good at butterfly stoke because of my body type. The chicken or the egg.

Jimmy Butler has a relatively small wing span, and yet he has managed to make the most of every inch by still be a good defender and offensively player.

Kemba. If he had longer arms he'd be on the next level.

M. Ellis (6' 2.75)

J. Barea (5' 10.75)
TJ Ford (5' 11.5)
T Lawson (6' 0.75)
But Iverson was 6'0, but more like 5'10, so the 6'3.5 wing span is pretty darn good.
