73 wins or Perfect Playoffs

I don't think the Cavs will pull off a perfect playoffs, but which achievement would be more impressive?

4 playoffs sweeps is more impressive than 82-0.

If the 73 wins includes a championship, I'd side with that. If not, it's a foot note, and I easily take 4 sweeps.

Forget the perfect playoffs as what they are doing against the east isn't incredibly impressive but if the cavaliers sweep the 73 win warriors that would be the most impressive feat.

It's hard to see a scenario that would allow a team to go 16-0. I think injuries would have to be a significant factor.

4 sweeps

means you won the title also  and that alone makes it worth an infinite times more than regular season wins

I think the championship is assumed with the 73 wins, just not 4 sweeps.

73 wins for me. So play at that high of a level for that long of a period is simply amazing. If a team sweeps the playoffs I think that says more about the competition, at least now it does.

What if a team sweeps that 73-win team in the Finals?

Thats not going to happen. The Cavs already have two wins by 1 point in the playoffs so far. They are fortunate to not have dropped a game each to Detroit and Atlanta.

The assumption is that the 73 win team wins the championship. It's all about the championship.

Personally as a fan I think a 73 win season with a championship would be the most fulfilling and a few playoff losses wouldn't bother me. I think the perfect playoffs would be the harder accomplishment though.

If this was in the West then sure, I'd go with 4 sweeps

But the quality of playoff teams in the East is just abysmal. More reasons to get rid of conferences

16-0 record can never be beaten and you get a championship at the end so I have to go with that, 16-0 can be equalled but that's more unlikely than 74-8.

Weak competition in regular season is much more likely than weak competition in the playoffs.

That's why they're called upsets.
