I don't know if it's funnier to assume that Hoiberg mixed up the Lopez brothers or if Hoiberg asked for Brook and the Bulls traded for Robin instead.

In fairness, the Bulls front office told Hoiberg that he'll be coaching Brook Lopez. This was their a-hole way of telling him he's fired, but he didn't get the hint.

This is funny...however, he went on to describe the player he called "Brook" and one thing he mentioned was his defensive ability. Pretty sure no one is confusing Brook Lopez with a defensive force. A simple slip.

To be fair, he didn't say he IS coaching Brook. Just excited to. If and when that were to happen.

The Bulls free fall from a top 10 team in the NBA to a dumpster fire in the last year has made me grateful I live in Arizona so I don't have to watch it every single day.
