Man.
so what are you using to come to a conclusion? Your "gut feeling"?

I'll stick to how the team played with Harris joining the starting lineup, (16-9) how they played the Cavs in the playoffs, and a much improved bench, which was the biggest weakness last year.

They also have the best game finisher in the league in Jackson.

Your just saying words, with no real thought behind them, save for "because I said so".

The best game finisher in the league?

LOL

He's not even in the conversation.

Someone just posted a chart showing the most clutch shooters in the NBA in the last 6 minutes of games

#1 Lebron
#2 Curry
#3 Derozan
#4 Lillard

Didn't see Reggie anywhere near that list
Oh how delicious. "Someone" has better stats then the internet? Nba.com, and game stats? You couldnt just go to any website with nba stats and look it up but rather just plop in a "someone just posted" reply?

Really? No link either?

Well sir, here is my reply.

So yeah, by a lot of metrics, Reggie Jackson is the best closer in the game. He is a monster at the end of game situations.

small sample size FTW. He can just as easily have a terrible clutch season next year. So let's talk about how good he is for the full 48 min over 82+ games

Taj and Jimmy yes.
RONDO has not guarded since 2011 and is an inefficient scorer. HE is a one trick pony.

Rondo, Butler, Wade, Portis, Taj, RoLo

All are proficient on both ends. I guess it's your opinion that Rondo isn't good on offense and defense.

Not an opinion when Rondo himself admitted to not playing D in years.

i have them at number 2.

oh i agree they could spectacularly crash and burn. but i believe D.Rose and Noah would be relatively healthy. that added with KP's improvement would make them a much improved team. i also think Hornacek is a pretty good coach.

Thing with Rondo is he can play D if motivated and I'm sure if he's in the playoffs he'll start pushing on defense. Same could be said about Rose I suppose but difference is Rose maybe physically limited now due to all his injuries.

NY will barely make the playoffs. They are a 7-10 seed. Too old and ego driven.

Knicks over Wizards heh it's kinda funny especially when your starting center is Noah who is done and injury prone like his buddy Drose - chucker made from glass. When You consider also their bench... They won't make playoffs this year for sure

As a raptors fan I'm actually really liking Detroit this season. Continuity did us wonders and I think they will get the same benefits. Even though they got swept they were playing the Cavs tough. It wouldn't be much of a stretch to say they were the 3rd best team in the east playoffs. I wouldn't expect them to be below 5th seed this coming season.

As for the knicks, I mean their fans always put them at the top of the division and top threat to the number one seed every off season but at least they're more tantalizing for non homers this year. Still, no continuity, sketchy health, new coach, chemistry is a ? Can't see them finishing better than a low playoff seed at best. I put them with the Magic and Hornets as teams that could make playoffs if things go their way but could also finish 11th.

Cavs
Raptors
Celtics
Pistons
Pacers
Bulls

Hawks/Hornets/Wizards/Magic/Knicks/Bucks in an all out battle for last 2 spots. Personally, I would give the inside edge to the Hornets and Hawks

Too many ifs surrounding the Knicks. If KP plays really well, I think they could slide into the playoffs. Let's hope so for their sake. Melo / Rose / Noah aren't getting any younger. If they miss this year, it's hard to imagine then making it next year. Top 3? Hell no.

I think their ceiling is 5th seed, Rose was really awful last year.

I hope for their sake that they don't play the triangle.

Wade is at the point where he has to conserve himself on defense to be effective offensively but he's a good defender when it matters and in spurts, which at his age and physical history is totally understandable. Rondo just needs to be motivated with a full team defensive concept and good players around him on a team trying to contend. I don't know about the contend part but the Bulls should be competitive. Im sure his defense will be just fine. People keep bringing up that he's admitted poor defense. Yes that sucks cause it shows he treats it as optional ( so a behavioral flaw) but still promising in the fact that he could turn it on whenever he wants to and he'll want to for this team. The bulls will play defense and I imagine it to be real good.

What I worry about with the Bulls is their lack of shooters, but I do this and Im sure many of us do. We think in the moment and treat summer free agency like its the last chance a team has to improve within a season. There'll be more moves, but you start by getting these alphas and betas and then its easy to find the other pieces.

Well that would be a pretty solid outcome for me. Thats a pretty kind prediction seeing as some don't even give us 40 games. So Ill take the fifth see. At that seeding its very possible to upset a fourth seed in the first round. Don't know if we'll do it but its better than getting slaughtered by the Cavs.

IMO....best case scenario 43/39

VS Division:
BOS - 2/2
BKN - 4/0
PHI - 3/1
TOR - 1/3
TOTAL: 10/6

VS Rest Of East:
CHI - 1/2

DET - 2/1
IND - 0/3
MIL - 2/1
ATL - 3/0
CHA - 1/2
MIA - 3/0
ORL - 1/2
WAS - 2/1
Because there are 6 teams that NY plays an additional game against, i'm going to add another 3/3 to that record just because it extrapolates out
TOTAL: 18/18

VS West:
GS - 0/2
LAC - 0/2
PHX - 1/1
LAL - 2/0
SAC - 2/0
DAL - 2/0
HOU - 1/1
MEM - 0/2
NO - 2/0
SAS - 0/2
DEN - 2/0
MIN - 1/1
OKC - 1/1
POR - 0/2
UTA - 0/2
TOTAL - 14/16
