Ranking favorite teams
Rank your favorite teams (Across all sports) & explain why?
Myself:
1. Seahawks- Fan since the 90's. Football is tops for me.
2. Warriors- Didn't grow up a W's fan. But, this team is as fun as any.
3. Liverpool- Steven Gerrard got me hooked.

1. Lakers - from Cali and when I first got into the sport say at 6 was Kobe rookie year so I grew up watching him and Shaq
2. Packers- dad is from Wisconsin so I have always just rooted for them
3. Notre Irish- again my dad was an Irish fan so I grew up rooting for them
4. Marquette Golden Eagles - again my dad, he went there. Dwayne Wade also a big reason why I love that team. Then Jae Crowders and Jimmy Butler. I hope the Lakers can get one of them.
My second favorites
1. Miami Dolphins - idk why I just liked there uniforms growing up. My room was dolphins growing up. I had Dan Marino autographs, helmets, even a dolphin locker.
2. Milwaukee Bucks - just got love for Wisconsin teams
3. UCLA Bruins - Both bball and football.
I don't care for hockey, baseball, or soccer.

Re: Ranking favorite teams
Pacers and Purdue (From Indy, and a Purdue guy) are clear number ones, with Pacers being in their own tier, been watching since before I had any clue about what was happening in the game.
Grizzlies and Jazz are teams I also like. This is because I spent a few years growing up not far from Memphis, and George Hill is in Utah now.

1. Blazers - fan since 1975
2. Seahawks - fan since 1979
3. Boston Bruins - fan since 2008 when I saw them live while on a work related training trip.
4. Oregon Ducks - fan since 1977
5. Portland WinterHawks - junior level hockey fan since...well I don't remember what year I started following them mid 80's maybe.
6. Seattle Mariners - fan since sometime in early 80's
Except for the Boston Bruins I became a fan of each team thanks to my grandfather who was a huge sports fan. Some of my best life memories of him and me + little brother going to Blazer and Duck games good times indeed.

Well played lol.

Yeah I'm a guy who just roots for the local teams. Don't care that much about baseball tbh.

I pretty much was that way growing up too. Until the Sonic's went away & I just couldn't get behind the quality of play that is the MLS.

Re: Ranking favorite teams
This is tough between the top two,
Chargers/Suns Grew up a fan of both from a young age. Overall I watch a ton of NFL because every game is more meaningful, so it just seems like the regular season stakes are higher, so when the Chargers lose a regular season game, it hurts more than the Suns losing a regular season game.
AZ Cardinals - Became a secondary fan of them when they moved to Phoenix, those it was hard to be a fan for many years
AZ Wildcats - If it was just basketball, they'd be right up there with Cardinals. But add in football (not a big fan of NCAA football, then it lowers their overall ranking). It was nice seeing them almost win the College World Series this year though, after winning it all a few years ago.
Diamondbacks/Coyotes - But I barely, if at all follow these teams any more.

Lakers and Dodgers, then the only team I really, truly hate is the San Francisco Giants. The Sonics and Expos were very cool to a kid in the 90's. Everybody else is greeted with apathy.

Only 26? Should be 30. Raptors gonna sweep the season series against Lakers next year LOL! Trash Lakers.
Jokes aside, you're supposed to post your favorite team from each sport, and then rank those 1-5 teams from Top to bottom.
1. Toronto Raptors - Home team. Team has always been built as an underdog without a superstar. I was actually low on the team when Bosh was here.
2. Toronto Blue Jays - Home team. Been a fan since they won the World Series in 1992. I also love the atmosphere at the Skydome/Rogers Centre.
3. Denver Broncos - A fan since early in the 1997-98 season, the same season they won the Super Bowl. I remember putting on a game and saying "I LOVE THOSE JERSEYS".
4. Dallas Stars - I don't watch hockey anymore. But back in the day I loved the team they had with Modano, Morrow, Nieuwendyk, Hull and Belfour/Turco. NEVER liked the Leafs, beyond their jerseys and logos.

Favorite teams:
1. Cleveland Browns (fan since 1999) - I liked the Browns in the early 90's but I hardly followed them. When the new expansion Browns came I was die-hard.
2. Cleveland Cavs (fan since 1995-96) - Liked the early 90's Cavs but didn't follow them hard until the emergence of Terrell Brandon (I really liked his game, + he shares the same name as me. I was 9 at the time lol)
3. Cleveland Indians (fan since 1996) - Don't follow them often (mainly because baseball isn't as interesting for me), but I care a lot about the team.
Teams I hate:
I'm impartial to every other team in every sport except one team... The Pittsburgh (****) Squeelers. I hate that team more than hate itself.

Re: Ranking favorite teams
1. Milwaukee Bucks- I grew up in the Milwaukee area and basketball has been my favorite sport since I was a little kid. Far and away my favorite team in all of sports.
2. Wisconsin Badgers Basketball- Did I mention I'm from Wisconsin and that basketball is my favorite sport (I also went to UW-Madison)
3. Green Bay Packers- They are kind of a big deal in Wisconsin.
4. Wisconsin Badgers Football- Behind the Packers because I like pro sports more than college sports.
5. Milwaukee Brewers- Not a huge baseball fan, but they are my favorite and tailgating at Miller Park is fun.
6. Indiana Pacers- When I was little, my grandpa said to always root for Indiana teams so long as they weren't playing Wisconsin teams. I liked Reggie Miller.
7. Indianapolis Colts- See above about the directive from my grandpa.
8. North Carolina Tar Heels Basketball- I had a video called Michael Jordan Airtime as a kid. On that video, it showed him hitting the game winner for North Carolina. Also, they won the title with Eric Montross around the same time I got the video. I thought the Bucks would win the title if they got Montross and didn't understand how he didn't get picked number 1...I was a kid.
9. New York Yankees- I read a book in my bunk bed about the history of the Yankees. I started rooting for them. This was before the 90's resurgence.
10. Cincinnati Bengals- I was obsessed with tigers as a kid so I liked the Bengals and never stopped rooting for them if they aren't playing the Packers or Cplts.
11. LA Lakers- Magic Johnson was my favorite player when I was really little. Notice that these all go back to childhood.
12. Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football- Step 1- Saw the movie Rudy as a kid 2. Learned that there was real gold in the helmets from that movie. 3. Asked for all Notre Dame gear for Christmas and ended up with a hat, sweatshirt, Starter jacket, clock, and garbage can.
13. Minnesota Timberwolves- Finally one that doesn't go back to chilldhood. I moved to the Twin Cities about 2 years ago. I love NBA basketball. I adopted the Timberwolves to an extent.
14. Miami Dolphins- I liked the color turquoise as a kid and I liked Dan Marino and Mark Clayton and Mark Duper.
15. Washington Redskins- As a kid (again) this was the first year I wrote out predictions as to who would win the Super Bowl before the season started. I was 9 and didn't have much of a clue. I picked them. They won. I felt smart. I then picked right the next 5 years until the Broncos upset the Packers in 98. I think I've been right twice ever since...so I have a soft spot for the Redskins for starting my streak.

Once, when asked if he was concerned about his former coach Nate McMillan commenting that he has a selfish attitude, Jerome James replied, "I don't even know what he's talking about, I just worry about Jerome."

1. Indiana Pacers - I hate the NBA but feel some weird undying love for the Pacers and have an obligation to follow them.
2. San Francisco 49ers
3. Appalachian State Mountaineers (would move up if they made noise in college football)
4. North Carolina Tar Heels
5. Detroit Red Wings
6. Seattle Mariners
Been a fan of 1-5 my entire life. for baseball I just rooted for whichever team Ken Griffey Jr. was on, but I'll be a Mariner fan the rest of my life.
