Somehow the narrative regarding what happened last Summer with the Tristan Thompson negotiations has been distorted.
While he ended up making far more than many thought he was worth, the Cavs barely bumped their offer over the initial offer both sides were reportedly close to agreeing on.
Once Draymond Green got his deal ($82M over 5), suddenly Rich Paul started asking for the max for Tristan ($95M over 5), but that's not what he got ... instead he got the same as Green.
Not that $2M to take an extended Summer vacation is a bad deal ...
