The Jason Thompson era has come to an end

He's 30 years old? I thought he was 23 or 24....didn't know he was a vet.

Didn't he start in the NBA at like 21 or 22 or so?

He's a below average player, never stood out at anything and was never great in doing the very good role player things.

Dude use to have these 15/8 outburst game all mid range shots that makes you think he'd excel with the modern times. Never did though.

High volume mid-range shooting without being a star or without being very good at it seems more like the opposite of what teams are looking for in the modern times.

IIRC, there is a stat that most people wouldn't believe about Jason Thompson: He's the career leader in games played for the Sacramento Kings. He's played in more games as a Sacramento King than Peja Stojakovic.

Kind of crazy when you think about it.
