Top 5 teams in defense for 2016-17

I'm going with:

1. Hawks - 2nd last year and added Dwight over Horford
2. Jazz - 7th last year without Exum at all and Gobert/Favors for much of it
3. Celtics - 4th last year and have added Horford
4. Memphis - were top 5 with healthy Conley and Gasol, requires them both to be healthy to make top 5
5. Spurs - 1st last year but lost Duncan who was the top rated defense player in the league last year, replaced with Pau who underwhelms with age on defense.

If MKG stays healthy and with Hibbert on board instead of Big Al, probably safe to pencil CHA in top 5. Big if on MKG though.

I can see them getting in there, that tram doesn't get the love they deserve. Walker is growing into his game

Yeah that's true actually. I'd have them knock out spurs or memphis.

Spurs only have Green and Kawhi on defense only now. Will be interesting to see how good they are on defense this year.

Heat could be top 5 too actually.

Plus Ibaka and Gordon. Payton, when motivated and not being benched, can also defend.
