If Trey Burke is getting meaningful minutes something really really bad is happening over there.

Their bench has been just hilariously bad this season. Apart from Satoransky, every bench players who's gotten significant minutes has a net rating way below zero. Thornton, Smith, Burke and Nicholson have a net rating of -15 or worse. And apart from Oubre, whose TS% is about league average, every bench player has shot atrociously (TS% below 47%).

The starters have had their issues too (subpar defence, etc.), but it's the bench which has been killing them this year.

Otto is solid, but his ceiling is as a role player, and I think hes better playing as a utility player than as someone you can rely on for consistent points from that position

If all it takes to get Porter is Gay, I hope Sam Presti is calling 24/7.

"Another brick in the Wall" perfectly describes their best player shooting ability.

Wall is the best Point Guard outside of Westbrook, Curry and Paul and has been for the last 3 seasons.

He's avg 24/4/10/2 on his best ts% he's ever had in possibly one of the worst teams he's played in.

Wizards need to offload Beal and Gortat for Cousins ASAP. Move Thornton to the starting 2 and build around a Wall/Cousins/Porter trio.

Wall and Cousins have wanted to play together since coming into the NBA and they will have the best 1/5 chemistry in the NBA instantly.

He is shooting 39% from 3 this season and his TS% is 55.3%. Not bad at all, especially considering he has to create almost all of his shots himself and has to take a lot of late shot clock bailout shots.

Wall isn't a rookie anymore, he's like a good shooter now.

Brooks is just getting exposed for what he truly was. a coach carried by KD, Westbrook, and Harden.

I cannot BEAL-eve that Washington has dropped off so quickly.

I thought that Beal was going to be what Klay has become and that Otto Porter was a really solid draft choice that took team fit into consideration perfectly (ie the unassuming third banana that defended hard and made the right play without his number being called). I still have hope for the Wall-Beal-Porter combo, but, as stated, they need some bench help.

Just comparing them to the Bulls and Pacers: The Bulls have 10 players at the moment posting a PER of 10 or higher. The Pacers have 12. The Wizards only have 8. That bench is leaving a lot up to the starting 5.

I was watching the game and I swear wall could've scored 80 and it wouldn't have made a difference. This current wizard's team is terrible they need to blow it up. Keep Otto.

GM, chemistry, coaching, Markieff Morris, bench, Markieff Morris again, and bench again. Oh, and Markieff Morris.

With a team lacking chemistry adding Morris makes that worse.

Wow, that sucks. To be honest, its been years, but I still not convinced Nicholson and J. Smith are NBA players. We had better players who ended up overseas.

In one aside, the first we traded Morris for became papagiannis, and in this NBA, he'd likely make over 8 mill a year, so it wasn't that bad of a deal.

I think we should've used the money from Mahinmi to get Ryan Anderson, re-sign Nene as a backup center, and get better guards.
