Jokic will steer the stereotype for Eastern European gangster bigs.
I think he is legitimate.

Jokic is likely the most underrated player in the league. Through 1.5 years Jokic has been a lot better than Towns yet barely gets talked about.

The cherry on top is that the guy is doing this for 1.3 million a year. Can you say best contract in the league? What a freakin' find from the Nuggets FO, kudos. Now trade Gallo to a contender, where I can root for him in the playoffs, please.

for another 2 years
I don't know if it can do a renegotiation of the contract, type 4 years 40mln from 2017-18... in practice it would mean paying 37mln for the third and fourth year ... so would financially secure him for the next two years (20mln instead of 3.5mln) but would give flexibility 'in Denver in since 2019-20

I would see well in Houston if it goes away from Denver.

Nuggets are currently the 8th seed.

How has he been a lot better ? assists ?
I think we put too much stock in advanced stats/Per 36. Why aren't these young kids playing 36 minutes to begin with.

We picked both Bruno and DeAndre Daniels ahead of him. Don't be greedy.

Masai is overrated.

Quiet please.
Now Malone has understood to gave him free reign.
Since joining the starting lineup (last 12 games) he has already played 6 games with more than 30 minutes.
34.0 mpg (6 GP from 30-39mpg), 24.7 ppg (FG% 0.633), 11.5 reb, 6.2 ast, 1.2 stl, 0.8 blk, 2.3 to, 2.3 pf
KAT

Re: Is Nikola Jokic a franchise level talent?
Jokic is already a top 3 offensive center. Only Anthony Davis and Cousins are equal or better.
As long as Towns' defensive impact stays so low he's inferior to Jokic. He still has more defensive potential, but if he can't figure it out with Thibodeau, I don't know when he'll do.
Denver is already competitive and has just as much upside as Minnesota, with Mudiay e and Murray as potential all-stars (even if I wouldn't bet on them tbh, still going to be good players though) and quality two way players in Gary Harris and Jusuf Nurkic, who's probably going to be traded but will net some value.

casey would destroy his development + his job would be just to rebound the ball and set some screens for derozan. Derozan would not give him the ball as much times as he have it in denver. He would become JV 2.0

Re: Is Nikola Jokic a franchise level talent?
Looks like he is now. Sometimes it also takes coaches a while to realize what they have in a player. He's started the last 14 games:Brandon_Roy wrote:laika wrote:blazeyo wrote:According to advanced stats he already has HOF potential.

27.6 mpg | 19.4 ppg | 9.4 rpg | 5.2 apg | 2.2 tpg | 63.8% FG | 45.8% 3PT
Then his per minute production for 36 games in a solid 25 mpg (which is enough minutes to suggest it's sustainable) are solid, so there's a good point being made. His passing is quite impressive, especially since he isn't turnover prone or anything.

Jokic in December: 16.2/9.2/4.4 on .692 from the field and .455 from 3.
Want to know what makes it more impressive?
He's doing this IN 25 MINUTES A NIGHT.
He's good, but he's no Embiid
Jokic >>>>> Embiid ....AINEC
In Masai We Trust
