At this point James Harden is making it virtually impossible for anyone, in good conscience, to not vote for him as the MVP.

That's really saying something considering Westbrook's phenomenal year and triple double spectacle.

He's really picked up his game in recent weeks. Been on a tear in the last 8-9 games.

I'm still worried voters may overlook what Harden's doing because they can't take their eyes off a player averaging a 30 point triple double. All I want is Harden to get the MVP award he deserved, if he ties with Westbrook and they make Co-MVPs then I'd be perfectly happy. If Harden doesn't win it this year then he'll likely never win it, which is what I'm really scared of. He has the stats, he has the 3rd best record in the league, and he has he second most triple doubles in a single season since 1983-84, only behind 2017 Westbrook. Harden can't do any more besides grab an extra two rebounds per game and hope voters get attracted to that (being honest, not a joke or jab at RW).

Stats are arbitrary, but if matter, then Harden's having a historical season in so many ways.

A Rocket should win MVP and Sixth Man of the Year, and be a contender for Coach of the Year.

For all the talk about Harden playing with much better teammates it's funny how he's clearly raised his performances level now that most of them are currently in a shooting slump.

Almost OT, but where does Giannis fall in the rankings if the bucks end up the 5th seed?

Harden
Russ
Leonard
James
Thomas
Curry
Durant (?)

8th?

Harden creeping up to 50% probability on Basketball Reference's MVP Tracker.
Nearly 5x Higher than Russ there.

It's Harden award surely. Would be a great win in a hotly-contested race.

Clearly LeBron imo.

He has better On/Off numbers, +/1 stats & RPM.

Boston and Washington are closing in on Cleveland's #1 seed in the East. Cleveland could possibly not finish with a Top 5 record in the league if those two teams keep winning.

Wall needs to be discussed to be top 3.

With Isaiah Thomas defense being so horrible and Lebron not having his best season. John Wall is the best player in the east.

Only Westbrook, Harden and possibly Leonard should be ahead of him in MVP rankings.

23/4/11/2.Top 15 in the league for scoring, 2nd in the league for assists and steals and 4th in the league for minutes played. Having his best shooting year at 54%ts.

Not only is he controlling games perefectky on the offensive end. He is nearly the best defensive point guard in the league. He's lead this Wizards team from looking like a high lottery team to a 50+ win season and a possible 1st or 2nd seed in the east!!

You take John Wall out of the Wizards and they go back to being a lottery team. No doubt.

Harden deserves to win. John Wall should finish in the 5th spot, his season is going overlooked.

I've got him 5th right now, no question

Wall outplayed bron yesterday but bron is still clearly better and ahead in mvp.

Regardless, if harden doesnt win it'll be up there with AI and rose as one of the biggest disgrace results ever.
