I guess I strongly disagree with the general consensus.
I've seen nothing about Saric that impresses me. Right now he is objectively lousy. Way below average according to RPM and doesn't do well in any other stat either.
Saric is one of the oldest rookies in the league so you can expect less improvement than you would for a typical rookie. I would be amazed if he ever became an all-star. His ceiling is probably a rotation player on a decent team.
As for attitude and hard work- most of the players in the league work hard. It doesn't mean they're all going to magically become all-stars.

His rebounding and offense might be able to more than make up for his defense.
Actually seems like the team plays better on offense when he's on court while he's just neutral to very slightly worse player on D. And I expect that type of impact from him for the rest of his career.
