If a team can keep going without their head coach through the playoffs I think the answer is the Warriors. With the core of Curry, Klay and Draymond the team has proven their capability before without Kerr on the bench. I think Kerr has written the blueprint for this team to keep going forward and run the right plays through coach Brown. I mean Walton did pretty much lead the team to the greatest reg season of all time.

Of course they also have KD coming back probably in the second round.

I believe his own back injury or screw up by the surgeons to fix his back affected Kerr mentally last year and this season in some decision making. In his rookie year he was healthy, or seemed like it, and ONLY KERR was responsible in turning the Warriors from a 2nd round/WCF exit talent team into a legendary team that will be talked about for ages in centuries to come. Kerr put his magic on the team and everything was clicking for all the players and the atmosphere. Of course any situation after Mark Jackson is a breath of super fresh air but Kerr himself took the Warriors to at least 10 levels above what they were with almost the exact same players from before.


It's sad that we might not see that version of Kerr again. The only person who might come close is Walton but looks like he was just following orders from Kerr last season from behind the scenes when Kerr was out but for some reason people like to give 100% of the credit to Walton last season for their start.

I do. The notion of prayers is ridiculous and has as much success as sheer chance.

I get your point, but you are missing out on the colloquialism of "sending prayers" is equal to "get well soon" "hoping things improve" or "well wishes for your situation".

Many people do improve based on the mental part of medical procedures. If a person has a weak will to live they have a less likely chance of surviving risky medical procedures. Your "999 prayers" would not help......
