Mike Conley
Is Mike Conley still the most underrated point guard in the NBA? He delivers on the court, always willing to do whats best for his team. It's crazy, because in the East he would clearly been an allstar.
Never stop believin

Absolutely. I was shocked at his contract but knowing what Lowry, holiday, Teague and hill get. Dude is so underrated worth every penny. Fearless

To be honest I haven't watched Memphis this year but watching him today was spectacular. Going for the Spurs but nothing like sports where you watch one player and think "we've got no chance of stopping him". Great performance.

Yeah, but that recognition comes from team ownership, though NBA always embraced athletic point guards like Westbrook, who are not capable of winning.

But NBA-fans know his value as well. There are 100 "Mike Conley is underrated" threads in the GB alone

Re: Mike Conley
Hes not underrated. He just had one of his best games so people are high on him in the moment and secondly hes always the guy people mention when "underrated" gets mentioned so hes clearly not underrated among realgm. Maybe just the muppets in teh media.

Hard to say hes underrated because whenever there is an underrated thread his name is always one of the first to pop up. I think hes damn good and would be a perennial all star if he played out on the East. I got him slightly ahead of John Wall.

Yeah, general NBA fans and fans from other teams do admire Mike, but when we look at media and a whole NBA society feels like he always been overlooked. I guess it's because his game is not that flashy..

Ya I think a none flashy game mixed with playing for Memphis. I think playing for one of the smaller markets doesnt help either. He definitely doesnt get the love from the media, thats for sure.

He's not an All-Star, Mo Williams was much better.

It's the curse of living in an age where seemingly every team has a borderline all-star PG.
If you want recognition as one of the best you simply have to avarage more than 20/6 as a PG. That's the unfortunate truth (fortunate for us, because it means you can follow so many good PG's every day).

He's good but everyone looks better against Tony Parker. Once again PG is going to give the Spurs an early exit!!

I love Mike Conley. It was great seeing him and Kawhi putting their teams on their backs late in the game. The best part is that they were getting it done on the defensive end too.

What has Conley won? At least Westbrook has been to the Finals.
It's time for 5 refs.

Underrated? Yes. Team first? Yes.....but tell me who he'd be an All-Star over in the East.

He's always underrated in the media... but hasn't been underrated on this board since like 2010.
