What kind of thread is this? We're talking about a 19 year old kid trying to achieve his dream, everyone should want him to succeed. Who cares his dad is a basketcase.
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

As a fan of a team that's not the Lakers, nah. It has absolutely nothing to do with his annoying dad though.

God tier scenario:

Markelle Fultz and Lonzo Ball become generational talents and the Lakers-Celtics rivalry blows up again and everyone else in the country has to watch our two teams go at it for a decade.

I honestly don't really care. I do wish his dad would shut up though. Lonzo doesn't deserve any of his dad's crap.

As a Laker hater, no.

His dad also needs to take a giant step back. Chill out Lavar.

I'd kind of like to see him take legal action to separate from his father, who seems to view him as business property.

Other than that, if he's playing for the Lakers, I'll be rooting against him, even if that makes me a bad person.

Yes, and if he learns how to standup against his dad in the meantime, I will be even happier :)

I kinda want him to be a bust, but don't feel bad about it because he'll have all that shoe money to fall back on.

everyone gonna be either on the bandwagon, or on the hater bandwagon, regardless of whether he's playing for the lakers or not

The Ball family (mainly Lavar) is trying to be the basketball version of the Kardashians. Pretty easy for people to hate.

And he (lavar) is probably going to succeed too. There ain't gonna be a middle ground
