The Wolves haven't made the playoffs in 14 years but the Bulls have won at least half their games 13 times over that same period.

Very confused on how the Nuggets are in the bottom 5 while the Wolves get such high marks.

Both teams have had changes in management. No one cares what happened 13 years ago.

Look at the Bulls and Wolves rosters two years ago vs. now.

No where in your title or opening post does it say 'at this very moment in time'. Even then, that's a very arbitrary thing to say. Teams have to be judged over some period of time to be assessed fairly. Perhaps I've decided thst 14 years is a fair period to judge these teams?

What has Denver done to get such a bad current grade from you? They've built a nice base of young talent and are moving the right direction. No different than Minnesota really. Phoenix, now there's a team that has made a boatload of poor draft/trade/free agent decisions over the past few seasons while losing a boatload of games in the process.

Actually we've built a nice young team, trending up, without the luxury of any high picks like the lakers, wolves and sixers have had.

If that's not a huge plus for a FO I'm not sure what is

I don't think Miami is top 5 for recent years.

I don't get the love for the Celtics and the hate for the Bulls. If Rondo doesn't break his thumb the Celtics were out in the first round.

And Ainge, for all his greatness, is probably going to sign his 3rd non-superstar in 3 years to a 30 million a year contact:
Horford 4/113 2016
Hayward 4/128 2017
IT 4/120 (projecting) 2018

He did sign a great coach, and has lots of assets, but what's his plan? Until they do something besides get blown out of the weak ECF he is middle of the pack to me.

If those laker and net picks Boston has this year don't turn out to be top 5 and ainge sits on his hands with them I would definitely replace Boston on my list.

If you don't put the Heat in at least the Top 8, you're an idiot.

The only good thing that Denver's FO has is their scouting, they suck in trades, planning, make rosters etc
But the scouting thing is enough to not put them as one of the worst FO.

What is the time frame we're looking at here? Minn went from being the worst in the NBA under KAAAAAAAHN but now are one of the best run teams in the league. If you look at it more than wins and losses then you have to give credit right NOW to franchises like Denver and the Nets.
