Leave Jason Kidd Alone!

Post#1 » by magicfan4life05 » Thu Mar 6, 2008 3:23 pm

"I didn't quit on the team," said Kidd, who will play the Nets on Saturday in Dallas. "The ride was over. At the end of the day, I gave everything that I could give to the Nets. There were no more rabbits that I could pull out of the hat. There were no more rabbits that Rod (Thorn) could pull out of a hat. That is as far as they could go. I took them as high as I could."

ok?

Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

If more players were blunt like this I'd have more respect for them.

Yes and Lebron will do the same if they don't get him a great player once Ben Wallace's contract is done. Kobe had quit on his team over the summer, how bizarre that's one turned out. Most superstars will do it once they get paid if they don't have a contending team.

thorn has gotten the better of that deal. younger. more talent. longevity.

he attempted the same when we made a go at kidd. he asked for bynum. no freakin way! age difference. not to mention size difference. but in the future, our interior lineup will be stronger.

so thorn is always looking to get the best out of the deal, almost steal as in the bynum case, when he makes moves. not a equal trade value.

and i dont think the mavericks won out as far as youth is concerned. they shouldve stayed put. and panicked. and they will pay for it. bring them in the playoffs, we will kick their ass. guaranteed.
