I don't know if its Photoshopped or not, it was posted by Duncan228 on spurstalk(the most hardcore Duncan fan..ever, she posts all articles regarding the Spurs and Duncan there). He did, however, slim down to 240.

No way Duncan is that thin, it looks photoshopped to me.

She looks like she's 12.

Gasol is around 240 so whatever strength advantage had against Gasol, it's gone now. I fully expect Gasol to make life tough for him whenever they play now. Plus, Bynum does a stellar job on Duncan too.

Just because he lost weight doesn't mean he lost strength...

When you are that caliber of athlete, losing 20 lbs will cause him to lose strength. It's not like he had much body fat to lose before.

I think the added quickness will be beneficial though.

He used to flip tractor tires and that kinda stuff every offseason, this time he took a break and hit the gym.

Wasn't Duncan a swimmer in college? I don't think its out of the question he could be that slim.
Thank you for all the memories BRoy. You were a class act and brought hope to an entire region for 5 years. You will be missed.

Big season for the spurs I expect Duncan to dominate this upcoming season more than last season

Wow, does he look different. Don't know if it will hurt or help. Getting older, it might help him with his conditioning - being able to play hard for 40 minutes. But he might also be pushed around under the basket easier.

It doesn't matter that he got stronger or more quick. He won't be able to take the pounding as well now.

Good it means he has no chance to keep anybody from getting deep position on the blocks !

Will do his knees some good.

That photo looks really fake but putting that aside I think the weight loss is a good thing for him. Its going to reduce the wear and tear on his knees which were a big problem for him last year. If he's healthy he's going to dominant no matter what his weight is.

Should def reduce the risk of injuries to his knees.. The team is stacked all they need to worry about doing is staying healthy, & this is a step in that direction
