Centers listed for the allstar game out WEST

Post#1 » by JordansBulls » Mon Sep 14, 2009 4:41 pm

Who should be listed as Center for the Western Conference for the allstar game?

With Yao Ming possibly out all year, what players will actually be listed as Center in the West for the Allstar game?

Should Duncan move to Center, or Gasol or Amare?

Right now the only one who is I would assume is Al Jefferson.

i have a feeling that the Spurs are going to call Tim Duncan a center this season.

Coincidentally, did you guys hear that Yao is probably out for the entire season? :P

Even if Yao is out for the season he'll still get the most votes

Duncan and Jefferson should. Gasol won't, since Bynum will be back for the year (maybe). I've heard that PHX might be playing Channing Frye at center and leaving Amare at the 4, so if that's true then count him out.

Contenders I see are:
Duncan - pretty much a lock
Jefferson - monster stats will get him recognized, win record might get him snubbed though
Bynum - he has the luck of playing with the Lakers, but if he doesn't return to 2007 form then he might not make it either
Oden - (I might be a homer here) Miller will be feeding him a lot and he will get his rebounding and blocking numbers if he stays on the court. He's my sleeper pick for the year.

Amare is most likely going to be listed at Center. He will be starting at Center this season as of right now.

But if Duncan is listed at C he has no chance at the first ALL NBA team, so they shpuld put him at C till the Allstar and then back to "PF"

1 RULE

IF YOU ARE MOVED TO CENTER IT HAS TO BE FOREVER!!!

If Duncan and Amare are centers this year then they need to be listed as centers next year too!!! No crying saying "I'm a PF" next year.

Bynum
KAMAN
Camby
Oden
Al Jefferson
Oakafor

Off my list because have stated they are a PF when Yao was on the ballot Amare, Duncan, Gasol
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!
